Are ya'll more scared of getting pregnant or getting an STD? ALso, what contraceptive works best? Condoms or the pill? THanks.

I got crazy contraceptives. I use to use the foam, pill, condom and diaphragm.....all at the same time and douche after sex. Then I realized I was being paranoid. So I cut back to just the pill, condom and douching. I never do one without the other. Yes, it's a lot but I love me more then he did.

You're asking a lot of questions about sex in general, not just STDs. I think you oughtta check out http://www.teenwire.com and http://www.scarleteen.com They're both excellent websites with *EVERYTHING* teens should know about sex.
As for fear? I'm not afraid of anything. Why? Because I made a concious decision to be RESPONSIBLE about my sexual health. I look after myself, not just my physical health but my emotional health. I get tested twice a year. I get a check up every year. And I stay out of unhealthy relationships.
I know sex comes with a certain amount of risk. But I take care to lessen those risks. And if something goes wrong, I know I can handle the consequences.
Not everyone is capable of those things. If you can't handle all the responsibility and investment that comes with sex, then don't do it.
As for condoms or pill? use BOTH.
and MAHOGANY, douching is very unhealthy. you really should avoid it. It can aggravate infections and contribute to permanent infertility.

I learned in my sex-ed class that if you uses the condom AND the pill then your chances of not getting an STD and not getting pregnant are about 99%. So hey, I would use both.
And I am scared of both. I'm too young to die from an STD and I'm too young to raise a child, so no sex for me. LMAO

Def STD's for me, i've seen what they look like on patients and i sure as hell don't want it. Condoms works the best for both STD prevention and pregnancy.
