Don't you all realize that alot of studies have shown that circumcision (removing the foreskin of a penis) will prevent against stds including HIV. Uncircumcised people also experience about 4X more urinary infections. And we all know that disgusting filth collects under the foreskin and most people don't like the way foreskin looks. And some of you still want to keep the disgusting foreskin.

Then some of you say it is child abuse to do this to babies, I'd say it's child abuse not to have kids circumcised, they will have no memories of the surgery (which they numb and make not that painfull at all). and also for the reasons above. I'm glad my parents circumcised me as a babie and all of you should get it for your kids or yourselves if you haven't already.

So I'm wondering if one can contract an STD or HIV from having someone else's semen on the OUTSIDE of his body, meaning no anal contact is involved, such as if it gets on the penis or chest, hands, etc. I'd also like to know if washing your hands with soap and water is enough to make it safe to touch your nose, eyes, mouth, etc. again, and if not, how to make it safe.

which kind of confuses me because herpes doesnt always show up on blood tests?

I was dating this guy for sometime & we finally had consensual sex. He didnt have any condoms but I did & I gave it to him & he put it on. In the "middle" of it all he "stopped" for what appeared to be a split second then continued & we were done. As we lay there I asked him if he wanted me to move so he could go "dispose" off the condom but he told me ever so non chalantly.."oh I took it off... I told you I didnt care for condoms & anyways I'm clean..." I was shocked & infuriated that he took it upon himself to take off the condom & "go bare". I called my doctor the next day & set up an appointment to get tested for any & all STD's. A couple of tests later my Dr. informed me I had HPV. I'm mad as hell & hurt.. I never got to talk to him again (not that I wanted to) but it bothers me to this day that someone could have done this to me. I dont trust men anymore & I'm scared of having sex. What could I/should I have done? I still want him to pay for what he did to me! Any suggestions?

My doctor diagnosed me with epydidimitis using ultrasound and prescribed Cipro every 12 hours for ten days. I have been taking it for 8 days now and still have pain. I was wondering if anyone has had this before and if so, how long it took before you started feeling better? I am also a little doubtful about the diagnosing of an infection using ultrasound. I'm putting this under STD's but I have been monogamous for 18 years so I highly doubt that's how I contracted this.

I have a friend contaminated with HPV and she have a contact with her husband who happened to be unaware he is a carrier of the disease. They have a contact last july 2006 and it was only this month when my friend was diagnosed to be having genital warts. The warts are very small. Is this a serious disease? How about the carrier? He admitted hiring once a prostitute wayback dec 2004 before their marriage. What is the incubation period to this disease?

I am on the pill (Yaz) now for about 4 months now and this is the first time that this has happened to me before..ever.. i got my period on Sat. then it stopped on Thurs. I believe that I'm having an outbreak, but I'm not sure. I was diagnosed last April and my PCP told me I didn't need a daily does of Valtrex, to only use it when during an outbreak. I recently lost my health ins. through my father, and he doesn't know about the meds or my condition. The meds are very expensive, so would it be alright if I just stuck it out and hoped the outbreak went away on its own? Or should I bite the bullet and buy the pills?

I just found I have them and I know at this point I have given them to my girlfriend, so the damage is done. I didnt know before or I would have done something about it. My question now is, can anything good come from me telling her I just found out I have them or can I just wait till she finds out like I did and then talk it over. As it is I think I have had them for sometime without ANY symptoms.

Bummer. I am afraid if I bring it up it may just ruin out relationship and she wont be able to forgive me.
