Masturbation is completely normal and a very healthy 'means' of supressing other urges that might drive you into state of hormonal rage.
If anyone tells you that masturbation is wrong, they should be expected to commit to the church for a tenure of service devoted to God.
Real answer: If you truly are concerned, seek some guidance from one of your church leaders OR read up on the subject in the Bible. My guess is you will not find one soul condemned to eternal damnation for masturbating.
Not-so-Real-Answer: People who don't masturbate commit themselves to the church, then they become pedofiles. Your choice: Masturbate or touch little kids.
Seriously, listen to the real answer and do some research within your own church and their teachings.

There's not a lot of stuff in the Bible about masturbation. Really, there is none. Onan was "smote" because he did the coitus interruptus thing, not because he masturbated. I guess you could haul out the various scriptures about staying pure and stuff, but that begs the question: masturbation makes you impure? I would think prostate cancer from infrequent ejaculation would be a bit more "impure" than masturbation ... but that's just me. I'm Catholic, and my Church has a strong commitment to the sanctity of life, as they phrase it. They hold that any time a man ejaculates, it has to be in a woman's vagina. They are so strict about this that they don't even allow doctors to get semen samples from men for medical purposes. I mean, they're that hardcore. I think this is a Church precept that needs changing in the worst way. Lots of law-makers in the Church think so too, but nothing changes in the Catholic Church very fast.

You are not supposed to have self gratification......and it's addictive. Sex is to be about two people not one.
