My doctor diagnosed me with epydidimitis using ultrasound and prescribed Cipro every 12 hours for ten days. I have been taking it for 8 days now and still have pain. I was wondering if anyone has had this before and if so, how long it took before you started feeling better? I am also a little doubtful about the diagnosing of an infection using ultrasound. I'm putting this under STD's but I have been monogamous for 18 years so I highly doubt that's how I contracted this.

Epididymitis is not strictly sexually transmitted (though that is a common culprit). It is often the result of unchecked infection in the urinary tract. Did you doctor determine the source of the infection? If s/he did not, then you may be taking the wrong antibiotics (some infections are becoming resisitant to cipro, and other drugs are recommended for their treatment). Otherwise, depending on how long you were harboring the infection, you may experience some discomfort due to inflammation even after the course of meds runs out. Ibuprofen should help alleviate that.
