Why is it that when I get a cold sore in my mouth a few days later one or two other cold sores will appear in the same immediate area of my mouth? Could it be that when I brush my teeth and brush my cold sore I'm spreading the virus around to my mouth?

Also, should there be any concern if two bouts of cold sores appear only weeks apart? which seems a little soon.

Is it an STD if you have little "bumps" on the underside of your penis? It appears that they are also around each hair, so could it just be hair follicles? The bumps are also located on the scrotum. Thanks for the help.

I found out over 6 months ago I have HSV 1 & 2 and I am finally at a point where I want to start dating again. So of course I joined a site for people that are in the same jam that I am in...

...I am chatting with a very nice and seemingly very cool guy...but not only does he have HSV, but he has HPV.

Am I wrong for deciding to NOT give this guy a chance, I mean I don't need ANOTHER problem, and especially knowing I gave it to myself!!!!!

Ugh, what should I do? I have chatted with him via email for a couple weeks and he gave me his number.....

I have been getting these now and then for many years, lately it's been a couple a month. It's a pimple like spot on my inner labia. Never anywhere else. I get one at a time. It's small, painful, and hard like a pimple. Sometimes I can get it to pop like a pimple. Just recently my BF showed me a spot he had on his penis. I just found out a new guy I'm seeing had a one night stand with a girl a few months ago who has herpes. He found out and got checked out and didn't have herpes.. but is this enough to ensure he won't transmit it to me or could it take a while for herpes to actually develop after exposure?

Is it possible to get HPV when neither partner cheated? How else could you get it? If that person did cheat which they is saying they didn't is it possible to get it other than having sexual intercourse. My pap smear was false positive and false negative they don't know for sure its mild they want me to have a biopsy to be certain if I do. If I do they said I could have it freezed which will remove it I had it six years ago and have it now Im married and he is telling me he did not cheat what do he take me for? I had two pap smear one the ending of feb and it was normal then the ending of march I had another one and in April thats when the result came back hpv. I dont trust him and once I have this biospy to know for sure if I have it or not I will go from there.
