You can't get chlamydia from taking a bath. Its a sexually transmitted disease. And you need to get antibiotics from the doctor. You can't self prescribe. She can be allergic. And three weeks sounds too long.

Ampicillin is a penicillin class drug and if she is allergic, it is going to hurt her very badly. Secondly, chlamydia is only contracted by sexual contact, so she is messing around on you, or you are lying to her and everyone reading your question.

Three weeks is far too long to be taking a drug that potent. She is likely to get a yeast infection if she takes Ampicillin for that amount of time.

If she is sure it's chlamydia, like she went to the doctor and he tested her and it was positive for chlamydia, he would've prescribed her medication for it, which in most cases is a Rocephin shot and an azithromycin suspension. Anything more than that is very bad for her!

1] chlamydia is spread by sexual contact
2] he or she can haveit without symptoms, so she could have gotten it long before she met you
3] both of you should be treated by a professional - be sure you take all the meds prescribed exactly as directed, or you could each risk sterility, and worse
4] don't have unprotected sex with anyone, even your current partner, without condoms until treatment is done

Mostly chlamydia is transferred by sexual contact but there are other ways to contract it. I do not think from a bath is one of them. Is she around kittens? they can carry a form in eye infections. Yes chlamydia can be cured, but you need to be checked too. And anyone either of you might have had sexual relations with. go to this website and it will answer your questions.
