Drug users often use non-sterile needles that have been used by other users. This exposes them to what ever the previous user has.
When you give blood, they use a brand new sterile needle.

I don't think so. If a person gives blood through an intravenous needle, and this needle was not being sterilized properly, he or she will still be at risk of AIDS. Hence, I think the problem should be on the needle, but not how it is being used.

generally intravenous drug users(not all), share needles with other people and reuse the needles several times since they are sometimes hard to come by, or they spend all there money on there drugs and cant afford new needles. plus they are generally more focused on the feeling of getting high then really caring about how safe/clean they are being.
blood donor needles are used once and then stored and burned. some drug users, steal these needles and don't sanitize them correctly.

It's common sense that a person who uses drugs on the street is not going to sterilize the needles as well or, does not care to sterilize the needles, through their own carelessness in being up in the air in their own drug induced world of insane crazed madness.
They're more into getting AIDS and spreading this vicious disease into their own culture and on the street on the whole, among their friends without caring due to the drug scene, to get the drugs they need without caring.
A person giving, As I have many times, gives blood is giving blood to help others and, in good cause in a safe manner and in all safety with all guidelines following all safeguards, sterilization and sanitation procedures.

because the needles are clean not dirty. aids travelled fast in the drugs community because people were sharing needles. if one had it......all that used it could get it. a new needle is used every time when giving blood

Illegal drug users often share needles. A new clean needle does not expose you to AIDS.

What about percription drugs? People can abuse them, have bad side effects and die from them too. Tons of people take percription drugs that don't even have a percription for them does that make it ok just because they are legal? Drugs that are illegal where you live might be allowed in other places so its hard to say.

Because people who "shoot" share. That means dirty needles. Hence the spread of disease. Giving blood is done withn a STERILE needle and trained people. And it's only used one time.
