MY friends gf contracted hpv. she immediately went for treatment and stuff and also got checked for other potential stds(she got a clean bill on that). am afraid for him because they want to resume relations. i don't know about hpv, but is he gonna be safe once they engage sexually? could someone with info on hpv throw some light on it. do men get infected and how does it affect them. how will it affect her child bearing in future. i hv heard it's not treatable. is this true?

okay i dated a guy for like 6 months n he called me the other day and told me that one of his exes had tested postive for an STD and i fliped out n he wount tell me any thing else so i have to go get checked soon and the guy im with now new i had sex with my ex but i dont think he would expect any thing this dramatizing.. me and him have been together for about three months now and we've had sex im on birthcontrol and i had no idea about my ex. so i dont belive it's my fault it could have happend to any one. but i dont belive my current boyfriend will like the idea of him geting checked. i really dont know what to do or how to tell him & i do belive he may be trusting he told me to never lie and i just dont think its right to hide it but i dont want him to freek out because im not nasty. my ex was and i didnt know that at the time. please dont jude me i just want an answer =)

I am going to have my boyfriend get tested for hep b. We aren't sure if he's vaccinated or not, but we don't think he is. (But were not positive) So when he goes to get tested what test will they do on him? Also we want to know if he has a current infection and I want to make sure he never had it before either so what should i have him tell the doctor?

does it necessarily to isolate this persons belongingness ( fork..spoon..glasses..toothpaste..soap and other more) from the rest of the family to avoid from being infected?...does a spill from her shouldnt be ignored...how can we disenfect things which she used (couch..toilet bowl...bed sheet ..pillow,) how long does a virus like protozoa live in dry hot air?can it be killed by a vry hot boiled water?

Is it possible to receive an STD by performing fellatio (*******) on a guy?
Now before you answer that, I've searched for similar questions and a lot of people responded with "Yes, HIV can be transmitted through fellatio by saliva." Now, I know for a fact that saliva does not transmit HIV. What I want to know is if HIV can be transmitted, let's say if even just a little bit of semen was swallowed? And what other diseases can be transmitted through performing fellatio? So a few answers from people who are well informed on this matter will be appreciated.

3 years ago I had intercourse with a stipper named Jasmine. We discussed STD's in depth and if either of us had them. Two months later I went for some testing and was diagnosed with Hepatitis B. Come to find out she had it and I think she knew in advance she had it cause she never acted surprised by the results of the test or should no worried of the possibility of having the condition. The point is do I have a legal case?

i've had a lot of experiences, most unprotected ones.

i've read an article on Yahoo Health that if i'll have these "flu-like" symptoms then i am infected with it.... but ever since i started having sex i never had fever and colds... should i rely on this?


or should i get tested? Do you think i'm HIV+?

Okay, I really like this guy and I found he has herpes, I havent slept with him or anything but can anyone shed some light on how it might get passed to or how I may be at risk. Ok, I was hanging out with my friends and one of them has herpes, he was eating a slice of pizza and offered me the rest, I was really hungry so I forgot that he had herpes than I ate the slice, I'm worried that I might have herpes from eating the slice, someone once told me that u can only get herpes by direct contact like kissing or sex, but yet again i heard people can get herpes by sharing food and drinks, what are the chances that I have herpes?

My question is if I have sex with condoms most of the time, what's the possibility of contracting HIV? If the man didn't ejaculate inside me during unprotected sex, do I still have possibility of contracting this disease? If he did ejaculate inside of me, but test HIV negative, is there still a possibility for me to get infected (there is a possiblity of test being wrong)?
