Ok, I was hanging out with my friends and one of them has herpes, he was eating a slice of pizza and offered me the rest, I was really hungry so I forgot that he had herpes than I ate the slice, I'm worried that I might have herpes from eating the slice, someone once told me that u can only get herpes by direct contact like kissing or sex, but yet again i heard people can get herpes by sharing food and drinks, what are the chances that I have herpes?

Highly doubtable. However, the herpes virus can be spread even with no lesion present.

A a cold sore is an outbreak of the herpes simplex virus (HSV1). It is estimated that over 90% of Americans carry the virus, but only about 30% of those have cold sore outbreaks.

Cold sore treatment options vary widely. There is prescription medication, over-the-counter medication, and home remedies for cold sores - many of which work remarkably well.

Here are some links to a site that helped me with my own cold sore problems. Since I used some of the methods outlined here, I haven't had a problem.

This is a link to the “Ultimate Cold Sore Treatments Guide” that outlines a bunch of cold sore remedies that work, both medicinal and home treatments:

This link is an entire glossary listing all of the best cold sore treatments compiled on to one web page:

Finally, this link is to the one medication that is proven to heal cold sores faster than anything else on the market:

I got identified with herpes virus (type 2) about 5 years back, when I was still attending college and had a dumb one-night stand. I understand loads of girls will declare this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a mistake that one time and suddenly I felt like I was going to have to live with the implications for the rest of my life. The hardest part was feeling I could never date men again. In the end, who wants to go out with a girl that has sores around her private parts? But since a friend shared this video https://tr.im/GXVqJ everything changed.

Not only was I able to remove all traces of the herpes simplex virus from my system in less than 3 weeks, but I was also able to start dating again. I even met the man of my dreams and I'm so blessed to write that just a week ago, in front of everybody in a packed restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!!! This method provided the opportunity to be happy and experience true love. Now I want to help you too by sharing this with the whole World.

There are two types of herpes simplex virus: HSV-1 and HSV-2. Both virus types can cause sores around the mouth (herpes labialis) and on the genitals (genital herpes). Cold sores are caused by the herpes simplex virus (HSV).
Cold sores sometimes called fever blisters, are groups of small blisters on the lip and around the mouth. The skin around the blisters is often red, swollen, and sore. The blisters may break open, leak a clear fluid, and then scab over after a few days. They usually heal in several days to 2 weeks.
The herpes simplex virus usually enters the body through a break in the skin around or inside the mouth. It is usually spread when a person touches a cold sore or touches infected fluid—such as from sharing eating utensils or razors, kissing an infected person, or touching that person's saliva. A parent who has a cold sore often spreads the infection to his or her child in this way. Cold sores can also be spread to other areas of the body.

Herpes may be categorized into oral and genital herpes. Oral herpes are caused by the Herpes Simplex Virus Type 1 (HSV-1). They are commonly referred to as cold sores or fever blisters. Fever blisters often appear as tiny, clear, fluid-filled blisters on the face. These usually appear on the lips. Genital herpes, on the other hand, is caused by HSV-2 and is characterized by painful, itchy sores in the genital area.

When one has herpes, be it on the mouth of the genital region, you will notice the presence of small, red bumps, blisters, or open sores in the infected area. These blisters will be very itchy and/or painful to the touch. These blisters will rupture and become ulcerations that will eventually turn into scabs and heal on its own.

There is no true cure for herpes, only preventive measures for future breakouts. I've seen great results with natural cures. Visit this site for more info about the remedies: http://herpescure.toptips.org

The HSV-1 virus creates cold sores. We could get them by sharing drinks, eating with someone else's utensils, shared chapstick, and by smooching someone that is carrying herpes simplex virus. Cold sores are somewhat uncomfortable blisters which might appear in close proximity to the mouth, or possibly the interior of the mouth or nose, elsewhere on the face, and somewhere else on the body.

Cold sores may come back because of elevated anxiety, the common cold, fever, low temperatures, particular foods, or possibly an excess of sun. The region could begin to burn, tingle, itch, then a blister will turn up. The blister will dry and make a yellow crust. They can stick around anywhere from seven days to fourteen days. People might try to mask it with make-up, although that ordinarily makes the cold sore a whole lot worse.

To exterminate cold sores, an individual can try covering them with a cold sore specific ointment, apply chapstick with sun screen, use vanilla extract, ingest echinacea, vitamins C and also vitamin E, and completely staying away from coming in contact with the cold sore. By implementing some changes in lifestyle, it really is feasible to avoid cold sores and also inhibit them from reappearing.

Oral herpes is curable. Blisters and soars are just the beginning show of the virus. You may way to make sure or not if they have gential herpes b/c if they have soars you may be able to get this from the other person from a open soars. Also about 10-15 das from now go get tested and make sure and then if nothing wait 20-25 and do it again to make a double take. Good luck!
