I'm a nurse. And there are some that are treatable. For those patients it's really no big deal. They can get treated and life goes on. However for that individual who contracts a disease that has no cure, it becomes difficult. I still encourage the person to try and make the best out of their life. I think living life to the fullest isn't just for those who have std's but for anyone. It's not the end of the world, instead it's only what a person has to learn to live with. Take care.

Well, always use protection, this is not 100% but it's better than not using. You wont want to hear this but the best way to avoid contrating an STD is not having sex, that's the only way. Hear something else. If you are sexually active then you should know you partner/partners communicate and don't be afried to ask you partner questions about the past relationships thay had and if thay have a STD. Don't be surprised if thay lie. Good luck.

That you need to tell the doctor if you think you have one cause some of them are treatable...

That you wouldnt have one if you knew your partner before push -push :)

And that its messed up when people think they might have one but keep messing around with more people

I don't understand your question. Which one I like best? What I would think of you if I knew you had one? Society's taboos about taking about it?
