You really should report your rape. The guy, the so-called family "friend" needs to be punished for committing a crime. He could rape someone else and give them STDs too, if he hasn't already.

A doctor or any medical professional can't tell your mother or father unless you are dying and having an STD or being prego doesn't mean your a dead gal walking.

Yes your doctor can do a pelvic exam and tell you if you have an STD, also blood work. I would suggest you get the new shot to prevent ONE of the STD's going around that causes cancer. Please have protected sex....it's not just your life your messing with.

If you were truely raped and you haven't come forward then you are just as guilty as him when he attacks another young girl. But if your saying that to save the shame of having sex so young (which I believe is the fact in this case), then you are a horrible person who uses terms like 'rape' to save face and make the allegation harder for those who use it when it's actually truthfull.

You will need to be tested for stds. Normally the only thing that a doctor will do for birth control is ask you why and to see what is the best type for you. He may give you a physical in order to make sure that you don't have any thing really weird going on, and he might find out that way.

You may have to check with your state or even call your doctors office and find out if they will allow to get on birth control without your parents permission.

Your doctor can't tell your parents anything without your permission. If you are afraid that you are infected , you need to ask him to run the tests so you can get the appropriate treatment.

You should tell your mom what's going on. If she's paying your insurance and your doctor's bill, then it seems wrong that she can't know what she's paying for.

Plus, I can guarantee she was sexually active before Her parents were ready for her to be. If she remembers what it was like, then she will be able to help you navigate this confusing time of life.

He will have to test you for the standard STDs...gonorrhea, syphllis, chlamydia, HPV and herpes. They will ask you if you want to be tested for HIV/AIDS. But more importantly, why wouldn't you want him to know that you have any of these illnesses...some of them are life- threatening, others are the leading cause of sterility and insanity many years later. If you see a Planned Parenthod they will not inform your parents, but the Health Department has to know...to try and follow the chain of transmission. You got your STD from someone..and they have given it to lots of people....when you are not in a monogamous relationship, you sleep with hundreds of people!
