No abuse, no rash, no cuts, no nothing. Seemed as if it was getting better with antibodies, but, now back to square one. I dont know what to do, I am dying watching her go through this! We are scheduling a Dr for urinalysis. Dont know what that will entail. This all came outta the blue. I, along with my wife are sick to death, thinking the worst.

I heard from someone with this syndrome that it begins with numbness and then works its way to pain. I've had numbness in my hands for atleast a year. Just a couple of days I started experiencing a throbbing pain in my wrist area. Am I too late? Are there any home remedies I can implement at this point?

My feet and ankles swell up alot especially in the summer. I have no medical problems that I know of, I have good blood pressure, am slightly over weight and don't exercise enough. I also have very puffy fingers/hands/forearms, and my face is quite puffy. Why is this? What should I do? I use compression stockings on long haul flights and they aren't very effective. It bothers me so much that I wont wear skirts anymore. This has been going on for about 6 years now. I'm in my early 30s. Help please!

For the last month i just haven't been able to sleep at night. I normally just lie there at night, and get extremely bored, and when i go to do something like play a game or read a book i feel instantly tired, so i like back down and i just cant doze off! During the day i feel quite faint and dizzy and get strong headaches around 4 o'clock, i try not to have a nap but sometimes it gets all too much n i nap for about 20minutes about 4.30ish. Does anyone know whats wrong with me? I've never had anything like this before!

I woke up this morning with a really bad pain in my left ear. I got an appointment at the doc's by 11 (they gave me antibiotics) , and by 12, my ear drum had burst. I was really prone to ear infections when I was younger, so I knew what it was etc. and that's not a problem.

But - 1st thing... how is it possible to not feel an ear infection!!?? I didn't get to sleep last night (well... this morning) until 5:30 a.m. and my ear was fine then. So how can i either not feel an ear infection, or else one build up in 3-4 hours!!??

Also, I burst the same drum about 4 years ago, and the doctor said it would be ok - as I had not burst it completely. They said there might be a problem if I burst the same one again (which I now have!). I already have hearing problems so that wouldn't help!!! I can't hear particularly well out of that ear at the moment (though I doubt that's surprising as it only happened today)... What problems can scarring etc. cause, or is there not likely to be a problem?

Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate in my blood is 48. I am now 27years old. Please suggest me if there's any danger ahead. I can't find the reason why exactly the ESR raised to 48.

I first lost partial hearing in my ear about 6 years ago. I first started having dizziness last April and that lasted about 3
months. 6 months later it started again. I was told by the specialist that I have menieres disease. I still have been dizzy since the beginning of Feb. this year. (3 months and going). I have been told by someone that her grandmother has it and that I should be able to get back to work full time. How do others deal with working. Most of the time my eyes get so sore it hurts to read. I feel like I am the odd man(woman) out here.

I'm worried that when I wake up tomorrow morning my eyes will look even worse. I've been splashing loads of cold water in them but it hasn't made much difference to the puffiness. How can I get rid of the puffiness?

Over a month ago I noticed a small pain in my right eye
Then over the next day or so the pain was TREMENDOUS
I wasnt sure what was going on.. my brother had told me
that it seemed I had "flashburn" but from what? I didnt know
So I rode it out a few days and started feeling like there
was something actually IN my eye.. but I nor anyone else
could see anything..
There was intense pressure/pain in my eye though
So not knowing what it was, I decided to ride out the pain
and hopefully it would go away
Well, a few weeks later of EXTREME pressure and pain
in the right side of my face (i also had a tooth ache on and off)
My mother is a nurse and she suggested that I had a nasal
infection which was causing the pain in my eye. It worked!
Whenever I laid down I noticed my nose would "pop" and
Id have a feeling of post-nasal drip.. then my eye wouldnt
hurt as bad. It actually relieved the pressure on my eye but
I still had this "feeling" behind it

I have had a lump for about four months now. It is just below my little finger on the palm side of my hand. It is whit and hard to the touch. It only hurts if I press hard and it stays the same all the time. It appears to have a grey dot in the middle of it. Anyone any clues as to what this might be? Thanks!

Long story short--I was bitten by a 4 month old extra-large breed puppy back in early February. I did all the neccessary precautions (wound flush, antibiotics, sterile pads over the wound, etc, etc, etc). The bite was in between the "bend" of the thumb near the palm of the hand. It went from the web all the way around to the other side of the thumb and most was down to the bone. It healed nicely within 10 days and the 3 doctors treating me showed no concern of healing an infection inside. Over the last few days I've noticed almost an arthritic type pain in the joint of my thumb (right where it meets the hand basically). My thumb is slightly swollen, though it has been since the bite itself. It is really an arthritic pain. I guess I'm curious to know if it is simply arthritis or possibly arthritis as a result of the bite? I don't think there's an infection--there are no "lumps" under or around the dog bite and I have no fever or other signs of infection. Serious answers only.

I have an ear infection which was diagnosed on Friday. It is the ear canal that is infected. The pain and deafness started on Tuesday. When the Doc looked in my ear she said it was full of pus that is why I am deaf and that it would start to drain out. Well I've not had any drainage yet but the hearing has improved a bit. It feels like it's still in there but feel wet like water trapped. I'm also getting clicking noises. Why isn't it draining?
I really don't think it has drained at night, I have checked the pillow and my ear is completely dry.

The last few nights I've had a tingly pins and needles feeling running across my back. It comes and goes. I googled this and came up with Multiple Sclerosis!? As far as other symptoms associated with MS, I have to pee alot and I'm kinda forgetful. Could it be something else?
