Over a month ago I noticed a small pain in my right eye
Then over the next day or so the pain was TREMENDOUS
I wasnt sure what was going on.. my brother had told me
that it seemed I had "flashburn" but from what? I didnt know
So I rode it out a few days and started feeling like there
was something actually IN my eye.. but I nor anyone else
could see anything..
There was intense pressure/pain in my eye though
So not knowing what it was, I decided to ride out the pain
and hopefully it would go away
Well, a few weeks later of EXTREME pressure and pain
in the right side of my face (i also had a tooth ache on and off)
My mother is a nurse and she suggested that I had a nasal
infection which was causing the pain in my eye. It worked!
Whenever I laid down I noticed my nose would "pop" and
Id have a feeling of post-nasal drip.. then my eye wouldnt
hurt as bad. It actually relieved the pressure on my eye but
I still had this "feeling" behind it

Well, my mother finally dug up like 6 antibiotics for me to take. I took all 6 and noticed a huge difference! I felt "almost better" for 2 weeks and then one morning BAM I woke up with the extreme pain in my eye and tooth again.
I since then went to the doctors, I couldnt go through all that pain all over. The doctor prescribed me 500mg Amoxicillin. Ive been done with the prescription for a week now.. so why do I still have pressure underneath my eye and the right side of my nose feels clogged up inside?? Sometimes it actually DOES feel like theres something in my eye but there isnt!
My boyfriend thinks Im going crazy or Im making this all up but IM NOT. Sometimes it hurts so bad that I start to cry.. but no tears will come out of my right tear duct?
It always feels like theres a tube going from my tear duct to my nose.. and its horribly clogged with snot
It causes the whole right side of my face to throb and I dont know whats going on! The antibiotics should have worked!!

Im not allergic to anything except hay
gives me the sniffles really bad
My mother didnt take me to the doctor
because Im 24 years old and she's a
registered nurse.. so I trust what she
has to say
Plus I didnt want a huge doctor bill..
I ended up paying 120 bucks for a
11 dollar prescription.. which sucks
Not everyone can afford to run to the
doctor everytime they feel a little pain
I just figured it would go away but it didnt
even after I took all the antibiotics

Yes it was sinus built up behind your eyes..you have all kinds of sinus tracks that run up under your eyes and around them.

Sounds to me like an acute sinus infection. Because your sinuses are under your eyes, it would feel like a pain in your eye from all the sinus pressure. That would also explain the popping sensation in your nose, as well as the pressure on the right side of your face. Your toothache could have been caused by the pressure buildup. The best idea is to go to the doctor, where he will prescribe you anti-inflammatories and antibiotics.

Why on earth didn't your mother MAKE you go the doctor.....tooth infections and nasal infections can get into the brain. It does sound like a sinus infection to me but there can also be a problem with your eye that needs to be checked. You should see your doctor and start using decongestants regularly for a week or so to see if it improves. Its easy to build up enough junk in there and with narrow passages in which to drain they get clogged up easily. A sinuse rinse a few times a day will open everything and thin the secretions so that they can drain. If that doesn't work or improve it greatly you need to see your doctor......

my sister is allergic to so much stuff, none of it severe, but it causes scar tissue to build in her sinus cavities which has to be surgically removed every three years....its horrible surgery. My mom complained for years and they finally found a tooth in her sinus cavity completely covered with scar tissue....they thought it was cancer, thank god it wasn't. We knew she may come out of surgery with only have her face quite literally. We were truly blessed that it was an extra tooth...

Sinus infection. Go to doctor.

Take sudafed to open them up in the meanwhile. You'll get relief.

Added*****
Sometimes Amox is not enough. Ask them to put you on Augmentin - but watch for diarhea!
YOUV'E GOT TO TAKE A DECONGESTANT TO OPEN UP YOUR PASSAGES. Really, One doesn't work well without the other. Start taking sudafed now. If this doesn't work, go to an ENT doctor and have them do a cat scan.

Good luck.

i had acute sinusitis for about 3 months and then it went and then i started with toothache on the right hand side of my mouth, shooting pains and the inability to sleep eat or talk for days at a time, i went to the dentist who immediately recognized my symptoms and diagnosed me as having trigeminal neuralgia, i have good days and bad days but i am on meds now and i can cope with the pain, it was a relief when i found out what it was and i think that it is really important for you to find out too, your health is really important ! Good luck .

You have a sinus infection. My sister in law had this and the exact symptoms that you have. Do you suffer from migraines to? She does and they thought it may be linked. Go see your doctor, as he is the only one that can give you the proper medication.

If you have a sinus infection you need to go get antibiotics to get rid of it. See your doc and get this checked out before it becomes more serious.

did you have an optomologist take an x-ray of your eye. I think you need one.

People walk around with minute shards of glass inbeded in their eye balls and don't even know it.

Maybe its the eye that is causing the sinus problem.
