Well if you have had it for two years have you considered its caused by your water? Stomach inflammation is an indication that you are consuming something that is causing the problem. I would look at my water source.

Don't drink carbonated drinks. Eat pickles or salad with lots of wine vinegar on it. You can put a teaspoon of lemon or lime in a cup of tea. Do this everyday for one week, and see if it helps. If still have problems, don't eat sugar or flour or pasta or rice. Only eat nuts and fruits. Be sure you get enough sleep. Your immune system is mostly in your "gut". So your diet and sleep is very important to how your gut feels and how you feel all over. Drink water (little lemon) all day. Note: Lemon and vinegar are great cleansing agents. They are acidic and will "neutralize" the fermenting of sugars, etc. How can you go 2 years without help?

Inflammation of the stomach or gastritis can be due to a variety of causes including infections and environmental exposure like tobacco, alcohol, spicy food, certain medications etc. If you have not been checked, testing to check for ulcers, gastritis and infection is in order. Generally an upper gastrointestinal endoscopy or EGD (esophagogastroduodenoscopy). In the mean time, avoid alcohol, tobacco, spicy food and anti-inflammatory medications like aspirin and ibuprofen (know as NSAIDS)*.

*Tylenol or acetomenophen is generally okay.

Try eating mints? Just one every few hours. It could be that you are fasting between meals too long, in which case take a small snack every two hours. Some people can sit down to a big meal twice a day, others have to have small meals six times a day.
