Umm... Unfortunately, I ate a massive bowl of mac & cheese and now it has made me bloated and given me terrible gas. Tommorrow I have to go to school; although I'm not necessarily sick, just sort of lactose intolerant (and egg intolerant, however u say it) and I dread sitting in a crowded classroom for six hours in my current state. I "let one rip" every two to three minutes and I can feel how bloated I am. How can I speed up this to guarantee a no gas school day?

Hey, I need help please! I know the basics of the artificial kidney machine. However, I need to know if a person still urinates or excretes feces with a dialysis machine, even though waste is already filtered out into the machine. Also, I can't find one difference between an artificial kidney machine and a real kidney? Is it that a real kidney can do much more than just filter out wastes? Thanks!!!!!

Supposedly I have an ulcer, but it rarely ever burns. I'm just nauseous ALL THE TIME. The worst periods are about 3-5 hours after I eat, and I hardly eat anyway because I feel so nauseous. I never have heartburn or feel like I have indigestion, I'm just always nauseous!! it's been like this for about a month, but it's been getting worse and worse over the past week or so.

i'm not pregnant either.

One of the meds he has to take is in liquid form. Another is a pill. I am becoming so desperate that I am thinking of forcing the liquid in his mouth, because if he doesn't take it, he may become even sicker. I realize he will probably spit some of the liquid out if I force it in his mouth, but at least he might swallow some of it.

She has extreme pain and loss of strength in her hands. She experiences numbness in her legs and hips. Her back and head hurt constantly. Some concerns with the inablitiy to empty her bladder. Lups, rehumatoid arthritis, Lugaric's disease, MS, and cancer have been ruled out by othapedics, and neurologists. She has had MRIs, lumbar punctures, and test that deliver shocks to the nerves to determine how they function. Now she is starting to experience shortness of breath and fatigue. I am worried; does this sound like anything you have ever heard of or do you know where she should turn for help; what kind of doctor? what treatment facility? She is a wonderful Christian woman who is a single mom and she desperately needs direction!!!!

Ever since I can remember I have hated milk. I don't like chocolate, ice cream, puddings or yogurts. I do like cheese but don't often eat a lot of cheese. I know that most give me a mild stomach ache but I'm wondering if subconsiously I avoid them because I know they give me stomach aches. Would you think the stomach ache would indicate I'm lactose intolerant.
Also my baby when she drinks formula it seems to make her upset I try and breast feed her when I can but she may have a bottle once a day, could she be lactose intolerant

My sister has been diagnosed with this and I have heard it progresses very rapidly. She has lost a lot of her word find abilities and now she sometimes doesnt understand the words spoken to her.
I am assuming within a couple years she will be very demented and maybe not able to understand anything and probably totally dependent for all of her needs.
What would you do if you were in my position? I am 16 yrs younger than her. She lives in Virginia and I live in Illinois and we arent really that close, but I wouldnt wish this on anyone.
