They just take a little teenie tiny needlr and poke it under the first layer of your skin right in the middle of your forearm ( in between your wrist and your elbow) and inject it with something? After they do it, It looks like a little pus blister from a burn and it should go down over the next 5 days, If it doesnt and gets red and swells more than you are most likely positive for TB.....I had to have a test done when I was like 10 or something....It didn't hurt a bit!!!!!

TB test are pretty easy. Of course, no one likes needles but it's just a little one and the nurse will put it under your skin on the back of your hand, or inside your forearm and they inject some fluid. After 2-3 days you go back to the doc or nurse and hopefully you won't have a small raised red bump at the site of injection. That's it. That's what they look for, it's simple and pretty painless. Good luck.

No. It's called a "Tiner Test". It doesn't hurt. It penetrates the first layer of skin. If you are positive for TB then the site where they applied the test will be red and might even be slightly swollen.
