my its very early in the morning and I get very sassy answers( you know who you are.) This is a serious condition. I don't find it very amusing at all.

it just depends on the severity. it could be possibly to live until your 50-70's, i imagine. with all the medical things that are occuring, you never know.

Trisomy 21 have shortened lifespan. They develop Alzheimers, heart problems and leukemia early. The average lifespan ranges around 50 good years but these days they have such good medical care they live longer but 60s but have cognitive and other medical problems The mosaic variant of Downs live longer and are not as severe

First of all I want to say shame on all of you who made a joke of this question.
Down Syndrom people are some of the sweetest people on the planet. Unfortunaty their life span is shorter than the average human. 30-40 years. Sometimes longer.

The average is in the 50s. It has gone up dramatically in the last few decades because of improvements in treatment of the conditions that can shorten lifespan in people with Down sydnrome, mainly heart conditions (at birth) and Alzheimer's disease.

Nowadays, they tend to easily live into their 50s or 60s. It depends on the degree of heart defect present, which most of them have to some degree.
Some, of course, die younger than that, especially in countries without good health care.

Generally they live well into their thirties. They do have some breakthrough drugs that would allow a longer life span but it has been years since I have researched the subject.

The average is 50-55 years but this doesn't take into account race and complications.

like any other person as long as there health is good.Down Syndrome is only a child born with one extra cromazone.....mild to severe.....mental condition with some heart defects
