They say no..... but you never know.
I've had Lupus for almost 26 years now, and have never had implants... mine ended up being related to childbirth, of all things. The baby started growing, and my immune system went crazy. he was worth it though... :o)

The cause of lupus is unknown. As so many women have breast implants these days, the epidemiologists would know by now if there were an association between it and lupus. So I think it is safe to say that there is no known connection between the two.

Not that I am aware of. Lupus is autoimmune and you have a marker in your blood. If this was caused by breast implants then I must be the only person with Lupus and no breast implant.

No, because I know several women who have lupus and not implants.
