When i urinate, i can never empty it all out, it seems to come out very quickly but then towards the end it feels like it's 'tightening up' inside and although i can feel there's lots more urine in there, it just won't come out!

BUT, then as little as 2 minutes later i need to go back to the toilet again and then a little more comes out

I need to go very frequently (between 10-20 mins) and fluids go straight through me!

But it's especially annoying when i go the toilet (incompletely) and as soon as i get into bed i need 2 go again as it didn't empty properly...

GRRR! :-(

Anyone know what this is? I have app at hospitals urology unit but not until june 25th.

Thank you :-)

Starting Saturday I've had a dull ache in my lower right abdomen. I've also had nausea with it. It has continually gotten worse, now it hurts whenever I move. I went to Urgent Care on Monday because it's just out of the ordinary enough for me to worry. They gave me antibiotics for a kidney infection and told me to go back in if it got worse. Tuesday night I was at the ER because it had gotten worse. The ER doc was convinced it was appendicitis until he got my test results back. My WBCs and urinalysis were normal, however the CT of my appendix showed fecaliths and calcifications. He refered me to a surgeon because he said that these things were a precursor to appendicitis. The surgeon, pretty much told me that they were normal. Great! I don't have appendicitis, but could someone tell me what I do have? Everyone just keeps telling me to go home, wait it out, and go back to the ER if it gets worse. Well, it is, but why go if they'll send you right back home?

For the past few weeks I guess (I lost track), I get a bad cramping stomach ache before I have to go to the bathroom but I hate going now. When I do....it hurts. I believe that some of the blood on my stool and paper is from rectal tears probably but i have mucus too more often than not. I am only going to be 20 next month so I am doubting cancer of any type but at this rate I don't know. I havn't told my fiance or my doctor yet because I want to do some investigating but I don't know what to search for. It seems that no one has the same thing I do. My paper is BRIGHT red, somtimes with very small clots but they could also just be mucus (though I think the first is a better assumption to the looks of it).

Someone please help me figure out whats going on. I am not going to the doctor if I just have some tears, I suppose I will just buy stool softener and deal with it.

I had my first ballroom dance lesson on Tuesday night. I danced for about 2 hours from 9 to 11 pm. I learned the cha cha and hustle. All of Tuesday I also had a sore throat. When I got home I didn't feel any aches. When I woke up the next morning I started to feel body aches in random areas all over my body. Severl times during the day on Wednesday I also started shivering due to fever. I'm thinking it's the flu. I would like to know, are my body aches caused by dancing or by the flu?

Please no smart remarks or rude answers.
I have gone to the doctor and he didn't seemed concerned.

I come to work and since I have been here since 8 and it is now a little passed 11:30 I have gone to the bathroom over 4 times. It is embarassing, I told my doctor I go alot and it didn't seem like that big a deal. Is it normal? I feel like people at work look at me strangely cause of this.

My friend's Dr. wants to remove the valve between her esophagus and small intestine, hoping it will make her quit vomiting. I was told by another doctor that this is major and has many bad side effects, but my friend is afraid her doctor will get mad if she asks for a second opinion.

My friend dove into a too shallow swimming pool and broke his neck and is paralyzed from the neck down, i have heard that stem cell replacement therapy could help him walk again, but understand it is illegal in the usa, is there a country anywhere that would allow this? and why is it so important for the USA to keep this kind of treatment under wraps?

A family member had a laparoscopy and some adhesions removed in day surgery. At home there was increased pain, discomfort, and shortness of breath. The GP gave pain relief but it worsened still so 9 days post surgery they returned to the Gp who sent her to hospital. They found peritonitis (a perforation of the colon from the laparoscopy) which can be potentially fatal. Luckily it was not but it led to major emergency surgery, a 10 inch wound, a catheter in hospital, a nasal tube, a drain, oxygen, and 13 mights in hospital. She also has a (hopefully temptorary depending on recovery) ileostomy (stoma) for 3-6 months. She is now at home but has an infection in the wound (awaiting results from hospital swab). Is the initial surgeon negligable, ot the GP post lapaoscopy? The emergency surgeon said it was defintitely a result of the laparoscopy and demanded an apology. It has been a very traumatic time for all and has resulted in a big loss of confidence and long recovery period.

my new born son was born on the 7th month of pregnancy and suffering from Retinopathy of Prematurity stage IV. A surgery was performed for his left eye but unfortunately it did not succeed. The specialist who conducted the operation said that there was nothing they could do for the left eye anymorewith the current technology that we have in our country. The right eye on the other hand needs a miracle to be able to see. I don't want to son to grow up blind. I want to live a normal life. Is there anyone who can help me contact an eye specialist in the US or Europe so I can ask for their opinion? My family is very poor but I could not let poverty stand on the way of my son's future. Can anyone please help me out here so my son can see the world and live a normal life. Thanks in advance....

I'm going to Japan in May, and the flight is about 14 hours long from New York to Narita Airport. I've taken this flight before, but I'm kind of worried I'll get DVT this time. I'm kind of a hypochondriac, so I don't want to have to worry about getting this while I'm in Japan.

What are some things you can do to help prevent DVT, especially on long flights? Any help is appreciated!

So about 3 years ago, I went and saw my doctor about a lump that had been developing on the back-left side of my neck, more near my back than my chin. He said I shouldn't worry too much about it, as long as it goes away. Well, since it's been 3 years since then, and it's still there.. And every so often I get very minor pain near that area as well. Can anyone tell me what it is exactly, or if I should just go see my doctor about it again?
