You have an eye infection. You need to see a eye doctor, ophthalmologist, as soon as possible. More than likely you have the condition called Conjunctivitis.
The symptoms of infectious conjunctivitis caused by a bacteria or viruses are:
Eye pain
Swelling of the eyes
Redness in the eyes
Yellow, green or watery discharge from the eyes which collects overnight and crusts over the eye
A gritty feeling in the eye
Itching of the eye
An enlarged lymph gland in front of the ear
The symptoms of conjunctivitis caused by allergies are:
Intense itching of the eye
Excessive tearing of the eye
Swelling of the eye
Redness of the eye
Sneezing
Runny nose
Symptoms for the other causes of noninfectious conjunctivitis are dependent on the circumstances (i.e., if the conjunctivitis is caused by smog, the person may experience itchy, red eyes; if the conjunctivitis is caused by a chemical in the eye, the person may experience burning, red eyes and blurred vision).
See the doctor Before this becomes much more serious.

You have "Pink Eye"
It is very important to see your doctor immediately for several reasons. First, if the cause is a bacterial infection, an antibiotic will be needed to help the infection-fighting immune system to kill this infection. Secondly, if you are experiencing other symptoms such as a runny nose, cough, earache, etc., there is a good chance that these symptoms are caused by the same bacteria and an oral antibiotic may very well be needed to reach these germs along with the antibiotic drops or ointment for the eyes. Finally, your doctor will want to exclude the possibility that the infection has spread to areas where the symptoms may not yet be recognizable.

I can't rmember what is was exactly, but I had that when I was younger, it's this wierd stuff that sticks your eyes together and by the time you rub it off your eyes are red right?
Go to the doctor, he'll give you these drops, put them in your eyes, and the next day you'll be fine....I put the drops in for a week, and then after that I dind't use it anymore...
I can't remember what causes it though, but I Know it's nothing serious.

Try changing the drops and also meet a doctor. Redness must be due to irritation while sleeping, so if possible try waking up twice or thrice at night and wash your eyes with clear, cold water.
That's all I can give.
Wish you fast recovery.

It's called pink eye and you should really see a doctor!!!!!! Seriously, my younger sister had pink eye on and off when she was in fifth grade and she wasn't allowed in school until it healed. It's serious though! Stop using regular eye drops and get a doctor to prescribe you medicated eye drops..!!
I hope it heals soon, take my word though, you need medication for it.
