I first lost partial hearing in my ear about 6 years ago. I first started having dizziness last April and that lasted about 3
months. 6 months later it started again. I was told by the specialist that I have menieres disease. I still have been dizzy since the beginning of Feb. this year. (3 months and going). I have been told by someone that her grandmother has it and that I should be able to get back to work full time. How do others deal with working. Most of the time my eyes get so sore it hurts to read. I feel like I am the odd man(woman) out here.

Meniere's disease is no fun...I don't have this, but I have suffered from vertigo, so I understand a bit of it.

Please go back to your doctor, and ask for more and better ways to treat your symptoms. For example, I know quite a few people who keep this in check by limiting their sodium intake. I also have a coworker who has received some relief by having surgery on her sinuses, to open up the passages.

If you can get the symptoms in check, then getting back to work will be much easier. Best of luck!
