Doctors advice please??
I don't understand why the Red Cross only tests for the hepatitis b core antibody and the antigen. How come they don't test for the surface antibody? Is this antibody not important? Can't this antibody indicate infection, so if they don't test for it can't someone w/ hep b get through?

I had a partial hysterectomy in 2000. For the last year or 2 i've become very moody. I can be happy and laughing 1 min and pissed off ready to kill the next. I have bad headaches and feel very jittery all the time. I'm alway's tired and yet cant seem to go to sleep. I've been having hot flashes alot too. I was wondering if I needed to be on hormone replacement therapy? Ive set up an appointment with the doc but just want to be more informed before I go. Thanks for the help....

I have cronic headaches daily which require me to take pain relievers every day. (I have been to the doctors...they still dont know why I get these yet.) I do not exceed the daily dosage limit and I switch from Excedrin (which I take the most), Advil, IB Profin, and Tylenol Extra Strength. I"m sure there is some damage being done to my body, but would like more info. I want some HELPFUL advice and info from people who know what there talking about. Thanks for your help.

I have been taking NyQuil as a sleep aid for a few weeks now. Problem is about 3 days ago, the normal dose stopped working so I took a dose and a half and it STILL didn't work. Yesterday I was down to 3 hours of sleep again. Melatonin didn't seem to work either, nor did the old actifed or tylenol PM. You think 2 doses of NyQuil (without tylenol) would be ok to take? I don't know what is going on other than I'm building a toler. to this stuff.

My family has a history of it, and I want to try and do eveything I can to help minimize it's effects before they really start kicking in. (I already feel all of my major joints pop).

it started a few days ago after i drink some beer and still continues.

when my stomach is full there's no pain but after a few hours it begins so i eat again and it goes...

i'm a very thin person and i'm used to suffer stomach spasms but this is not anything like that...

i don't understand what's going on... when it starts i perceive it as if i'm starving (but i'm not, hell, i ate only 3 hours ago).

what this would be ?

I have mild gastritis and recently it has been acting up. I take medicine on a daily basis but would like to improve my diet rather than continually taking medicine.

I have read that one cure for excess stomach acid is drinking 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar. However, on other websites I have read that vinegar is to be avoided (which seems to be common sense) because it is acidic.

Which is it? Is vinegar a cure or will it drill a hole in my stomach???

Hello, I have been having leg problems. My legs keep giving out and are always tired. I am walking sometimes and my leg kinda snaps backwords and i fall down. I walk like a penguin now and I can't run fast. I can't get up sometimes because my legs are so tired, almost like they are paralyzed. Anybody know what is wrong with me?

Also, usually after I eat, all of a sudden my head will start pounding and I will fall to the ground and sometimes I get knocked out. I will start breathing hard and everything seems to be going in slow motion, my eyes go out and I can barely see and blood seems like it rushes to my brain. What is wrong with me?

Thank you ahead of time.

No insurance wants to take me because this pre existing condition and if they do my monthly payment is between $300 to $400 monthly because of my condition, I've already applied for Medi-cal and I wasnt elegible. I tried so many antibiotics and I want to start a treatment and without insurance it is impossible, could anybody tell me if there is a insurance that will accept me without paying so much. My level is .67 ( Dr. said norm is .7 - 1.48) but my TSH is 6.94. All women in my family older than me, take synthroid, and a couple who are younger ( I am 38). .67 is not very far from .70, but the family history says I should take it.
Thank you

How do i stop being so pathetic and being ill all the time?
