You are not losing brain fluid from your ear - that's almost impossible. If you can hear normally in the ear that has fluid draining from it, then there is nothing wrong unless the fluid stinks, indicating an infection in your outer ear. If your hearing is muffled, this indicates that the eardrum has ruptured and fluid is draining from the middle ear.

If you haven't been swimming or immersed in water it sounds like you may have an ear infection of some sort, especially as you describe itchy ears.
You need to see your GP today!
It wont be scary - he will just examine ears and give you drops or antibiotics or something
good luck!

not good, especially if it smells.
A doctor, very soon. you could have trouble in the mastoid area; you could have a fatty, harmless growth in your inner ear, caused by the ear being unable to clean itself; these growths can become VERY big, and can cause smelly fluid to come out of your ear. Unfortunately, it DOES mean surgery to remove it...
but I'm only guessing....a doctor for you...soon.

This may sound strange, but taste it. If it has a sweet taste, then it is Cerebral Spinal Fluid and you need to be seen IMMEDIATELY because it can lead to death.

Have you had a bath recently?
Is the water red? If so, have you hit your head very very hard recently?
