2 days ago i got somehow cystitis,it feels AWFULL! not in much pain but i feel like i constantly have a full bladder and when i have finished a wee the worste pain imaginable! i have now started having blood in my urine.is this normal for cystitis? i dont want to go to docs as kids are off school (all 3 of them) and cant really take them with me!! any sugestions how i can get over this and how long it will last??? please answer as i posted this all day yesterday but no answers!! thatnks

Try AZO. It's a urinary analgesic. I think the drug in it is called pyridium. It turns your urine orange, but it's the only thing I have found to help with the discomfort. You can buy it over the counter. Also, you may have to go to the doctor at least when you get the opportunity because you may need and antibiotic. Lost of water to flush the kidneys and good hygiene. Women are more prone due to our anatomy. I have UTI' s often and AZO sometimes keeps me from going to the doc.

I've never had it, but I know people who have and it can come back frequently. If you have a juicer or blender in your house, get a bunch of cranberries and squish them up. There's something in them that can help cystitis. They taste awful, so put another fruit in as well. It really does help. Good luck.
