I have been taking NyQuil as a sleep aid for a few weeks now. Problem is about 3 days ago, the normal dose stopped working so I took a dose and a half and it STILL didn't work. Yesterday I was down to 3 hours of sleep again. Melatonin didn't seem to work either, nor did the old actifed or tylenol PM. You think 2 doses of NyQuil (without tylenol) would be ok to take? I don't know what is going on other than I'm building a toler. to this stuff.

And no, I don't NEED it and no, I don't use it to "get high" come on. I'm an educated person yet this comes up whenever I post. I JUST CAN'T SLEEP

Nyquil is not meant to be used as a sleep aid it is a cold medicine. You should probably see your doctor and get a prescription for a sleep aid or try something over the counter like Unisom.

NyQuil is a very good sleep aid if you have a cold...
But you must isolate what exactly is keeping you from sleeping..Is it medical? Is it emotional? Is it stress?
Find the problem and eliminate it. Oft times we can not eliminate something rapidly as with the loss of a loved one.
And I myself opt for the more straightforward approach...
In the whole of a year I do not drink more than an ounce of alcohol ...But in times of severe soul searching or times of loss (As with the passing of my parents) I keep a small pocket bottle of Southern Comfort available.....
No not to get drunk...Simply to numb the senses and allow sleep to take place and only when there is little hope of falling asleep any other way...
One might try taking a long warm relaxing bath just prior to bedtime....And one mustn't forget to turn the lights off and place scented candles all around the tub...And perhaps a sniffer of wine while in the tub.....The combination of warmth, scent, along with the soft flickering of the candlelight just might put you in the mindset for bedtime...

You really need to see a Dr. 'cause you are building a tolerance to the Nyquil. The Dr can get to the bottom of it... I would not take 2 doses, been there done that and my head hurts again just thinking about it....

Sorry that you're having this type of rough time becoming her. I'm no longer definite if you'll be able to get the strap quick ample simply by punching holes, however a saddler will have to be in a position to shorten it for you. Also, Bit if Britain has a product referred to as 'Dee Savers' that I could propose you get. They pass over the stirrup bars and you'll be able to attache the breastplate to them as an alternative of the saddle dees. It's more potent and if it breaks all you do is exchange the dee saver. Replacing a saddle dee is a large deal. I'm joyful you eventually obtained again on her and that it was once at ease for you. I consider that the next move will have to be to experience her at the lunge, and if you're feeling particularly well approximately it, check out unassisted for a few mins on the finish of the consultation. If you're no longer feeling it, keep at the lunge for now.

Try eating a huge meal right before you go to bed. You might just be suffering from low blood sugar, which is waking you up at night. I know the "experts" on weight loss say not to do this, but honestly I cannot sleep through the night unless I do. Experiment with meals like pizza - something really heavy like bread and cheese. Tortillas hold me over good too. Cereal...etc. I hope this helps.

I would recommend seeing your doctor to get a prescription sleeping aid. You can also try yoga that focuses on meditation. I had problems with falling asleep myself, but since I've started taking yoga classes and learned how to breathe and control my thoughts, I am able to relax and fall asleep on my own without a medication. Good luck!

Firstly have you been to see your GP for any tests? There are a number of things that could keep you awake. Do you lie there and worry about everything? First off go see your GP (doctor)
