my grandpa had a clot in his brain two days ago and he fell down and hit his head really bad. they are doing surgery on his brain right now to get the clot out. so does anyone know if he will be ok and how likely the surgery is to let the person stay alive and ok

In October I had my gall-bladder removed, it took me about a month and a half before I felt better, Now since last friday I am having a simular deep burning pain on my right side, right under my ribs, right next to my stomach, I have had problems with ulcers in the past, but this seems different. It does seem to feel better after taking Zantac, or lying on my belly. Any ideas as to what this could be , would be helpful, as I dont want to go to the clinic unless I have to, Im already paying a huge med bill from my gall bladder deal.

For as long as I can remember myself being able to write, I have developed an everlasting lump, of what seems like pushed up skin on my middle finger. It is numb; a small swell underneat my finger nail...I believe it is because of the way I write because I put pressure on that spot, but it's the only way I write...
If anyone knows or has this, do you know how to cure it, because it's noticable and I don't particularly like it!

My grandmother is in her 80s and has been on Coumadin for awhile but developed some bleeding at the stem of her brain. she is prone to blood clots so they put a vena cava filter in her leg since she can no longer be on Coumadin. She spent nearly 3 months in the hospital and rehabilitation facility. In that time none of her swelling has gone down in her right leg. She came home yesterday and is in pain. What can I do to reduce the swelling and reduce the pain?

When I Went last year to see my gyn about it he just said that its a infected node probably from shaving. If it keeps bothering me we can do surgery and remove it.. So I let it go and of course everytime I shave Its hurts for about a week. Its sore again. But the lump never goes away. Hasnt for the past year. Its embarrassing, I cannot wear tank tops because its huge looks like fatty skin. My question is... I wonder now, if he was right, could it be something more serious than just infection since it doesnt go away. I have a dr appt monday but My left breast hurts for the past three days like its bruised. And my armpit just is getting over being sore again. What could it be... Im getting pretty scared now.

this is my 2nd head cold I have caught in the last month. Should I just rest or can I try to take walks?
I already do rest a lot due to other non threatening health problems so I hate sitting inside all the time.

i know everybody nowadays love wearing contact rather than wearing specs making u look like nerds..
and also making me look like hideous!soooo unpretty.
lately,i've been seeing a doctor because when i'm wearing contacts,it feels uncormfortable..
he said its a virus.he told me not to wear contacts until my eyes ok.

is it ok not to listen to the doc advise?
i dont wanna look like nerd or unpretty or hideous!

Is it possible that during a sinus infection you wont be able to hear out of one ear? I have a sinus infection and all of a sudden it felt as if my ear "flew shut" and i can hear a ringing out of it but cant hear anything as strongly as i could say 24 hours ago.

Hello when my sister was in college she got fungus, then it spread to me and my Mom =( So now I have had toe fungus since high school. And it's gotten worse! Two of them are really big and now even my big toe has fungus. I hate it!! I can't go swimming with my friends or take off my shoes. Its embarssing. My sis used lamisil last year and it worked for her, but isn't lamisil bad for you? Like bad for your kidneys and stuff?

Does anybody know of any remedies that actually work?

My daughter will be 3yrs. old in June.I'm only 28yrs. old.She's my only child, and a miracle, because I wasn't sapposed to have kids.After I gave birth, everything in my body just started failing me.I devoped oseoperosis, and some endicrine problem that starts with and H? It's likea calcium diff. and other vitamine diff., In the last to years I've gotton 6 different stress fractures in my feet, just my walking around.My fibromyagia went away during my pregnancy, but came back after delivery 10x worse.My athsma became sever,and I might have some other lung disorder.I have really bad anxiety from all of this so I can't sleep, and I get acid reflux so bad it spills into my lungs when I sleep and turnes into a lung infection.I had double wrist surgery last year.I have such bad migraines on the right side and their sening me to Detroit for botox in my head.I have pelvic prolapse, and intersistial cystitis,bowed vocal cords,spasmonic dysphonia,and muscle tension dysphonia,ect...HELP
