Please go to a Dr just to be on the safe side to make sure its not your heart
it could be some sort of injury as well

If you're just getting over a lung infection, athsma flare up, or chronic couph, you might be expeirencing something calles Plurisy(I don't think I spelled that right). When you get it on the left side like that, it feels like a heart attack. They'll probley give you Vicodine,Flaxeral,Motrin, and another shot at antibiotics if this is what your chest pain is. Plurisy hurts bad bad!! Or, it could be your heart, anxiety, you may need to see a chiropractor because maybe you have a rib out. That happened to me. I did it in my sleep. You can have injuries and not even know it until you wake up one morning. Either way, go to your doc., because of the side it's on. There's a chance it is your heart. Or find someone with a blood pressure cuff. Alot of people have them at home. Don't sleep flat till you go. Sleep in a recliner, or proped up with a lot of pillows. If you can't sleep like that, only sleep on your left side. If you lay on your right side, it makes your heart pump different, where theres less strain laying on the left. Moist heating pad,no caffeine,no exercising by yourself until you know whats wrong. If you smoke, cutt back, but don't just quit. Hopefully it's just a rib out and pulled muscle, and not your heart.

Any kind of unknown pain is not a result of sport or any activities should not be ignored
you should call your doctor or go to the nearest hospital's ER and check in.
Good luck & feel better

go to the doctor!!! do not wait. If it turns out to be something totally minor, good. But if it's not waiting 3 days could be detrimental.
