Well only one eye is like this actually. When I was younger I had a problem with picking my eyelashes so often so much till that my eyelids would bleed and form scabs, which I’d pick with too. It was uncontrollable. Somehow I managed to control my habit with meds and am no longer doing what I later found out was Trichotillomania. Now however I seem to have a permanent scar. The skin on my left eyelid where I picked the most has a very dark area; not only that, it seems to be saggier than the right side and a little wrinkled. I didn't know at the time that this is what would happen, but now I want to fix this. What options do I have? Will it go away? I have fully stopped doing it for a year now, and have only mildy messed around with my eye for two years.

I have never been on a regular sleep/wake schedule in 10 years (since I was 16) I can get to sleep at 9 but then I wake up and that only happens like once a month and then it's back to the insomnia. I've tried pills and they make my legs stay awake and it's painful. when I aviod caffene after 4 I get migraines. I don't exercize because I work 50 hours a week. Is there anything you can suggest that maybe I need to do?

I hate going to the doctors but have had a virus for over a week and have had a sore throat for about a week. And My ear feels as though it has fluid in it and is blocked, although is not amazingly painful unless it shifts a bit, I have a cough and headache. I don't want to go to the doctors unless it won't go away on its own.

For a while now I have been able to eat easily less than a 500-800 calories a day and not get hungry. I do eat when I feel hunger and actually get quite grumpy when I do :)~ But do I have an eating disorder? I am conscious of what I put in my mouth and when I do get hungry I worry about the sudden increase in calories for that day but again I don't obsess. I workout about 3-4 times a week but don't obsess when I don't get into the gym. Do I need professional help? Or am I ok?! I just feel thats its not normal to never be hungry!

I’ve worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for four years now in a major hospital, taken a full work schedule, living on my own, and taken a full pre-nursing school schedule.. naturally stress is an issue
The following is the symptoms I have described to my primary physician and diagnosis:

1.) Racing heart= cleared EKG test (because I was having a knee surgery) and my doctor decided I must have acid reflux disease…? Med’s didn’t change a thing
2.) tightness in my chest= naturally I must have asthma, inhalers made no difference nor did these oral steroid meds
3.) same symptoms… again = now my doctor seems to think I’m finally going crazy or I’m a paranoid freak and gave me Ambien to help me sleep and anti-anxiety meds to help me with everything else.

Any help would be great, I’m on the internet and desperate to find out that I’m not loosing my mind..

Hi, over the past 2 months i've been experiencing terrible stomach pain and the only relief i have is lying down for about 45 mins until it calms down. I've taken an ultrasound and blood test but all results have come back negative...also my doctor said i may have an ulcer however i don't have any symptoms of an ulcer such as vomiting, blood..etc
My stomach seems to only hurt whenever I'm eating a meal and it forces me to stop because of the pain. Another thing is that i don't believe it is related to gas because I've already taken stuff like "ENO" and the pain hasn't stopped nor is it stress because personally i dont have much to worry about.I dont have any history of health problems,i'm in very good shape and i'm 15 years old...Do you think it could be "Duodenitis"...wat are your thoughts?

My husband just got a TB test done and is having a reaction, we know he doesn't have it because we have all been tested within the last month, but I know that he's going to need a chest x ray to comfirm it, and was wondering how much something like that cost without insurance. Dose anyone have an idea?

I'm asking because lately more than ever I have found myself just absently bouncing my legs under the table really hard, not little jittery bounces, this is the way you would bounce a baby on your knee. This makes me feel like the irritating person who sits next to you on a picnic table? When I realize I am doing it, I irritate myself!

In addition to that, for a few years, I have felt this feeling like there is little bugs crawling on my skin mostly by my knees. There aren't of course. It kind of feels like something but is also a little numb at the same time...like when you rub your fresh shaved legs on a satin sheet? Only in very small places on my skin.

If that isn't enough, lately in my whole body, my joints are kind of achy and it feels like my shoulders, elbows, and knees need to pop, or like the end of the sensation after hitting your funny bone...all over my elbows and knees. Kind of an achy nervey feeling.

Kind of, kind of...these sensations are hard to describe.

After the upper GI barium swallow our surgeon says mom's esophogus is shortened and peristalsis is not working too good and feels like medicine is best instead of the nissen procedure. Her esophagus is enlarged 4cm and has shortened and she should use protonix meds. Now, we wonder what can we expect happen to her hiatal hernia and will she get better with just meds?

Okay so I have been freaking myself out here for awhile...I went to the doctor on Monday due to a rash that was developing on my face (nose and cheeks) on Saturday. The rash itched a little and it got more red on Sunday and by Monday...forget about it! When I went to the doctor I told her I had no allergies and I hadn't eaten any new foods or used new soaps and things. I had a mild fever...99.8 and body aches, chills, fatigue...clear signs of the flu..WRONG! tested negative for flu. The doctor prescribed some antibiotic (Doxycycline) to hopefully take care of me face and asked me to put a cortasaid cream on my face and nothing else....well, three days later and now I am coughing, extrememly fatigued, congested, still have headaches and the rash has almost disappeared...I am under a lot of stress and am around kids who are sick right now...should I think this could be Lupus as the doc said it is highly unlikely...but still..i need to know.
