It has been doing this for a long time. I am not sick at all!

You may have some swelling or fluid behind your eardrum due to allergies; it happens to me quite a bit. Try a decongestant like Sudafed if it is troublesome. You might want to get checked out just to be sure it's not something else, though.

It sounds like you could benefit from a decongestant. Call your dr if the muscous turns green or foul smelling as you'll need a antibiotic. It sounds like you might have eustachian tube dysfunction.

It happens to me every time I swallow too. You just have to ignore it.

since the throat passage is connected to the ear canal i'd go visit an ear, mouth and nose doctor..they have dealt with this type of situation and can help
