My wisdom tooth has developed recently and for a few months a hole in the wisdom tooth has grown. I'm not talking about the hole where the wisdom tooth has been taken out I'm talking about an actual hole in the wisdom tooth. I would go to the dentist but, I don't have insurance and I'm too poor. The hole in the wisdom tooth produced a throbbing pain whenever I ate food, and food would get stuck on the hole and I wouldn't be able to take it out. Today, I did a sucking motion you know where you suck on the bottom of your teeth to get food unstuck while your eating or done eating, after I did the motion excruciating pain came from the wisdom tooth hole. I brushed my teeth and took a look at the hole and it is now pretty big, deep and kind of a white-ish gray color. It's completely fine if I leave it alone but, if I touch the hole with my tongue even in the slightest touch a sharp pain comes. Going to the dentist is not an option right now I can't afford it I'm only 18 living on my own-

My upper right wisdom tooth has been poking out of my gum for some time now. It is partially out. Well, about 3 days ago, I noticed I can't open my mouth all the way and can't chew too much out of no where. Like I said, it has been there, it just now started giving my problems with not being to open the jaw all the way. What is that? Did it grow more and now there is not enough room in my mouth? Or will that go away if I wait? I am really not too excited about getting it pulled, I have heard it is painful afterwards and will not be able to work for about 3 days afterwards. What should I do? Try and wait it out or try and find an oral surgeron? Wisdom teeth suck.

I got my left-bottom wisdom tooth removed (because my dentist wanted to take them out separately) about 10 hours ago, and I think it's still bleeding! I can taste the blood when I swallow. Is this normal?

Also, it HURTS to swallow. When I swallow, the left side (same side as tooth) hurts.

And my dentist prescribed Tylenol for me. Can I just go to the pharmacy and buy a stronger pain killer? Or should I just stick with the ones my dentist gave me?

THANKS!

When I eat most of the time now it feels like it's going up into these small holes in my molars and feeling really senstitive. I don't have any fillings yet so I don't know if I need them or if I should just use sensitive toothpaste.
Thanks

I'm reading up on the extraction method of a tooth, and it says that the infection can sometimes null the novocaine. I just got my antibiotics today, and my appointment is scheduled for tomorrow. Should I post pone, or should the novocaine work regardless? I'm going to an actual oral surgeon, so even then, he may have laughing gas.

Did your teeth get straight?
Did it work just as good or better than braces?
How long did it take to straighten teeth?
Any other insight you can give would be helpful?

I currently feel like my front teeth are going to fall out. Antibiotics are reducing this infection but this visit to the dentist caused them to recommend redoing my 35 year old root canal. At this very same time I have a nastier than normal sinus infection? So, are they connected?

Im going to the dentist the 19th of this month and im really worried... I broke one of my side teeth about 4 years ago and ignored it.. (bad mistake).. Now its sorta hollow and has turned black.. Im really wanting to get a root canal and save it cause i dont want a fake tooth.. im only 23. But what do they do during a root canal? Do they have to drill out the black? Any answers will be helpful and hopefully make me feel better.

I had my upper right wisdom tooth pulled 2 days ago and I've had a horrible migraine ever since. I know I should expect a good amount of pain, but most of it is my eyes. It's so bad that when I'm around bright lights I get severe sharp pains in both of them. The hole where the tooth was doesn't even hurt. I know all the nerves are connected, but I couldn't really find anything about extreme eye pain. Is all this normal or has it happened to anyone else?

I got it done over a year ago and at first it kept going into my tongue so I got a longer bar. I never put in a shorter one and my tongue hurts all the time and I am afraid to take it out and trap in an infection. But this weird little flap of skin which is sorta hard keeps growing on the bottom on one side of the hole....and I have cut it off three times but it keeps growing back!

I got my braces tightened last week (on monday) and a bracket fell off the day after. Well, today I went to the orthodontist today for what I thought was just to put a bracket back on that fell off on my second molar. Long story short, when I got there my regular ortho. wasn't there (he travels around to three different practice he owns) anyway, the guy who was there looked at my teeth like they normally do and then said he was going to change the archwire on the bottom and re-tie the top. I was confused so I asked the assistant why they weren't putting the bracket back on and she said that this early in the treatment (I've only had braces for three months) it wouldn't effect anything to not have a bracket on that tooth, but she was going to change the archwire anyway to "jump-start" the movement in my lower arch. My question is, is it normal for the archwire to be replaced like that only a week later? Thanks :)

So tomorrow is my first appointment in like 14 years is tomorrow after a horrid experience as a kid. I'm pretty confident that my mouth isn't TOO bad, aside from my major toothache. It happened out of the blue when I was eating jerky on a broken tooth that I got a few years ago (yeah, should have gone way sooner, I know.) My question is, will the dentist opt to pull/work on it tomorrow morning? I'm not sure if the tooth is abscessed or if it's just the nerve finally dying off. I don't THINK it's abscessed, as the pain differs from day to day, but I may be wrong. I'm trying not to research into it anymore, as reading about it being fatal is just causing me to get nervous.

I just got my braces off a couple days ago and am very disappointed in the results. The ortho I go to is actually pretty popular and very accredited, so I know he know what he's doing. Still, after 2+ years with braces I STILL have buck teeth! Granted, they arent as bad as they were before, but im still not happy with it. When I smile I can feel the teeth pushing against my bottom lip. It just doesn't feel right. It's been almost a week and I thought maybe I just needed to get used to it, but even my mom noticed that they weren't as straight as they should be. I have another appointment to pick up my retainers next week. What should I say? Do I have any options to fix this problem? I know retainers just hold the teeth in place and dont actually move them, so does this mean im screwed?
