First, stop sticking your finger in your mouth;
who knows where it has been! ;)

Second, you will keep "wounding" yourself if you don't do the first thing, above (you meant "wondering", right?).

Third, contact your physician!

Fourth, there's no point in leaving your "initials", as I presume "JL" to be, as nobody here cares or believes it!

Years ago this happend to me and i went eveywhere to see what it was and finally a specialist told me i had pollups on my voice box and it was from smoking, but can be caused from screaming to much and acid reflex. This may not be it, but i know it took me awhile before i found out and wished i would have know sooner. Good luck.

Google or images cannot make a diagnosis, nor can anyone on this board. Go to your local dentist. It could be anything from irritatation to oral cancer, you should have the dentist make a diagnosis

They might be your taste buds that you are discovering. Google images to see if that's what you are feeling; your taste buds might also be inflamed.
