i had all four of my wisdom teeth out yesterday and and i'm having some problems. first of all yesterday i was practically fine, and now my cheeks are swollen and i woke up to a shirt/pillow of blood! the salt water thing isnt working for me and i was supposed to stop wearing gaws yesterday night before i went to sleep. the only reason there in now is because my mouth is starting to taste like blood, and i heard that brushing your teeth causes dry sockets. i also tried the tea bag thing but i dont know if i did it right. i need some help 1st i need to know if the bleeding and swelling is normal and how to stop the bleeding.

i just got my braces and towards the back teeth my brace is getting stuck on my cheeks and it is very hard to get out of it and the braces are very irriating but the bigest problem is the cheeks it feels as if someone sowed the cheeks and the braces together , does this happen to you?

I am not being funny or clever but her breath smells like s+it. How can I tell her to brush her teeth without offending her. Toothpaste/toothbrushes are not exactly expensive. Thanks for the advice.

The dentist says there's no evidence that I need a root canal. The downside is that later the nerve may die and he'll have to go through the crown to do the root canal then.
The tooth is slightly sensitive right now (it has a huge amalgam filling) and sometimes it really hurts when I'm chewing.
Also I'm weighing up an implant versus the crown. Are there any other options?

I'm thinking about using crest white strips for a few weeks. I know it removes enamel. Does that enamel eventually come back. Casue I want to try the strips again in six months.

Every time I brush my teeth, I gag and almost throw up. I'm not sticking the tooth brush down my throat or anything, and I don't brush my tongue that far back. I hate it because it makes me feel sick in the mornings =[ please help me!!!

I got my braces put on in 2003. I have the ACCESS Card (Medicaid) and was approved for braces. I want to move to Virginia this summer or in 2007 sometime. I have a feeling I'm going to still have the braces on then. My question is, will I be able to transfer to an orthodontist down in VA without any problems with my insurance???

I was sparring yesterday and sometime during a take down or fighting a choke, my jaw got slammed.

I just bought a grill on line the sicilone fixing bar adheared so tight to my teeth when I tried to take it out only the grill part came out I tried to get the siclone out and my tooth came with it!

Okay so its been offically 1 month since i had my extraction and the recovery seems to be coming along great but just 2 days ago this little sharp thing popped out at the side of my gums a little below my extracted tooth slot. Its sharp and its been bothering me because its been scratching my cheeks; is this a piece of the tooth that was not removed and is coming out or is this not normal and gonna be a problem ?

Ever since my wisdom teeth were pulled in May 2006 (it is now February 2007), i have never fully regained feeling in my bottom teeth.

Since they had to cut the teeth out, since they were growing into the bone, i think they cut or injured some nerves. But i was reassured that it would just take a long time for it to come back.

It's not coming back is it?
