That is why hush-puppies are served with fish, not just because they are good, they help to drag any bones those over zealous eaters, or kids get get caught in their throats down with them. It's the truth, I swear it and it works too! Anyway, just eat some white bread and hopefully it catch it and take it down. From there it will be digested and pass. If it's really bothering you and this doesn't work you will have to see the doctor to have it removed. Sometimes after that have been lodged a day or two, a little swelling or festering sets in making it harder to remove with the bread, letting the doctor (not dentist) get it is advisable then. Even after it goes down, your throat may be just a bit sore. Good luck and next time eat hush-puppies or bread with your fish! Hope I've been of some help.

I'd definitely rather see a doctor than putting up with the discomfort and at the same time running the risk of getting a serious infection. Why postpone? You'll just cause yourself more agony.
