I'm going to be pulling out the 2 bottom wisdom teeth. What will happen after? I know it will be painful for a couple of days. Will their be swelling of my mouth? If so, how can I prevent my mouth from swelling or puffing up?

i feel like i have fangs... but they wont shave them. in "rare cases" they will pull the tooth and put in an implant - but they refuse to do that too...also that is very expensive and painful. i already had braces but that doesnt change tooth size.

A while back my dentist recommend me to start using colgate total to stop gingivitis in my gums. Since then I have been brushing with Total. Just recently, I read that triclosan, which is a major ingrediant in Total becomes a caricogen (cancer inducing substancne) when combined with water.

That freaked me out so I went and got the crest prohealth. Now when I read the back, it says that this paste can cause staining of the teeth?? What the hell, isn't prohealth supposed to whiten your teeth?

Anyways, what do you guys suggest on which one to use? or should I go back to regular paste without the gingivitis/plaque fighting capabilites?

i had to get a full upper denture and absolutely hate it. It's been in since dec 13, the texture of some foods turns me off. I have bben trying to eat food without the denture because nothing tastes the same and its making me depressed. the denture also dosesnt feel secure and i still have the stitches in ( because there were no more appointments til after the New year.
They told me not to secure my immediate denture to my mouth with that denture stuff until I get my re-lign done.
I fear my denture will fall out and cause me embarassment.
Also I have 2 sore spots, which wont get done until after Jan 4th which is my appointment
denture breathe is also unpleasant. I brush and use mouth wash, so do you have to rinse with mouth wash several times a day so as not to have bad breath? Or is it because I still have stitches in and some sore spots?
I really hate these things, could not afford implants, dont know if I'm going to be able to live with them & food is no longer enjoyable

My son has a loose tooth, but he and I both forgot if it has fallen out yet. He bit a hard piece of thing (still don't know what) and now it's loose. I don't want him to get a replacement tooth, so I want to know if there's an adult tooth to fill its place.

it's best using a toothbush with a small-headed troobrushes with soft bristles, then why do shops & dentists sell large-headed toothbushes with hard bristles? :/

same for medium.
