No, just ease up on the peroxide for a few days and it will be fine.

I've been using it for the last 2 & half years now & so far nothing wrong happened.I use it everytime I smoke and eat at work.(breaktime).It really takes out the bits of food stuck between ur teeth.I keep some at work,in my cars and at home.I don't know about peroxide damaging the enamel crust but it happened that chunk of plaques get chipped off from my teeth.I know for sure it's not the enamel because enamel is like ceramic tiles and when crushed it breaks into smaller shards whereas plaques becomes powdery and taste like salt. Not only it cleans gum but it also keeps cold virusus away.

It will not usually hurt your gums as it is marketed as a dental rinse as well. Although, it will turn your skin white as well as your gums. Just try not to use too much of it as it can break down the enamel on your teeth over time and don't swallow it. It's fun to make your mouth all foamy, though.

no, peroxide will not hurt your gums. if they are white, try massaging your gums to get the color back. untill then, lay off the proxide, or next time, add more water to the solution.
