With sores/blisters already there, use some mild oral rinse. Smoking is best avoided. Your stomach needs cleansing. Take some laxative gel in the night and you will have good purging of stomach next morning. Take no solid food for next 24 hours, only 100 ml of plain fresh water at 4 hourly intervals, and WHO specified ORS 2-3 times in the day. Start the next day with soft diet like porridge etc. and back to your normal (non abusive) healthy, regular food habits. Merry Christmas and Healthy Smiling 2007.

It could be a variety of things. Have you been under stress. You could be getting cold sores on the inside of your mouth. Or what have you been eating lately, you could be having something that is causing the breakouts in your mouth. It could be some type of infection also. Where are they in your mouth? How many do you get at a time? How long do they last normally?

Try plain - unsweetened yogurt. Roll it around in your mouth before swallowing. If this takes care of the problems then it may be a yeast related condition.

Check out yeast at the yeast link at www.hufa.org.

Cold sores caused by the Herpes Simplex 1 virus. It is not the genital herpes which is Herpes Simplex 2. Though, during a breakout of cold sores in the mouth and engaging in oral sex can lead to genital herpes. BTW, this is not curable.
