My son phoned me at 8.30 am this morning to say that he got out of bed and he litterally spun and fell on the floor .He was very shaky when he phoned me .Should he go to the hospital to be checked out .He is 34 years old and has a very stressfull job .

I had very light blue eyes when I was a kid but they darkened as I grew up to a gray color. So my eyes are naturally gray now however depending on weather or what kind of light hits them they change. In the winter they turn gray with a blue tint however during the summer my eyes will be green depending how much sun light I get. Even when my eyes get blood shot they change into a deep blue. Is this normal and is there any reason for this to happen?

Just curious.

the area is just below my knee at the back and is very painfull when i stand on it for a while or when i walk. iv not over stretched it or anything like that.

i am going home for christmas to see my husbands skinny geourgous family! I would love to loose like ten pounds. I do exercise and I'm going to turn up the heat on that but what about over the counter diet pills. For water weight all that stuff. Or even detox diet natural remides. I am willing to try anything.

I had a test and in the meantime took medication for it but because myself and my partner were trying for a baby it was unsure if I was pregnant at the time so they put me on a less effective medication. I am not pregnant and now the test was positive I have to go back in 6 weeks to see if im clear. My partner goes back tomorrow to check if he is clear, if he is can we continue to have sex? I am just concerned that if we have to wait 6 weeks for me and I do still have it I could pass it back to him or once he has been treated is this impossible? We are desperate to try for a baby and have already put it on hold while we were on medication and really don't want to wait any longer.

I am 19 years old and there is a good possibilty that I have contracted herpes from an ex (I find out tomorrow). I am very close to my dad since my mom passed from cancer 2 years ago and I'm just wondering if this is something I should tell him about? And how? He is an awesome dad and usually is pretty understanding about things, but I just wouldn't know where to start... Thanks.

Earlier I had very good eyesight, 2 years back. But maybe because of using the computer too much my eyesight has weakened. I'm using specs now. But I don't like them. I'm thinking of buying contacts. But does it hurt? How long does it take to get use to it?

I learnt that the child needs blood transfusion from time to time to stay alive. What kind of illness is that. skinny body, big stomach & blood transfusion from time to time. The mother of the child does not speak english so she doenst understand what doctors say and I am not in the same state with them.

I have coughed my head off for 5 days.....no sleep for me! I am literally about to go insane from lack of sleep. Any ideas? I've tried the humidifier, vicks vapor rub, trying to sleep sitting up, niquil, halls cough drops, mucinex, and sipping wellness tea. I will go to the doctor tomarrow, but I need sleep NOW!

I mean all the ppl i know who are very smart come from well educated families such as a few freinds of mine his parents are both doctors from stanford uni and his cousin is also very smart and his parents are from john hopkins. and everyone i come across that is very brilliant have well educated parents. so is it all in the genetic code? so what im tryng to say is that if two ppl were very well educated and married had sex and etc then the baby popped out so the chances of the babies iq level would be quiet high right? later on as he progressed to be an adult?

This has been getting worse over the past 2 yrs. I get upset over something stupid and I start to cry and almost hyperventilate and after that, I can't stop crying even when I'm not upset anymore. It's like my mind wanders until it can find something else to cry about. This can last btwn 30min to 3hrs and my brain is so focused on being upset that I can't do anything else except be upset.

It's getting so frustrating because it seems to be happening all of the time. People just tell to "think of something else" or dismiss it like I'm exaggerating but I'm not - I just physically can't stop and just wanting to stop crying and not being able to makes it worse.

Or sometimes I will wake up and my mind will just be full of unwanted thoughts and it will make me upset the entire day. Or like now, I'm trying to go to sleep but suddenly all of these upsetting thoughts popped into my head and I know it'll just get worse if I turn out the lights and try to sleep.

Forbes created a list of the most obese cities in the nation with Memphis, Tenn. being number 1. Do you think this so called obesity epidemic ( as if its similar to smallpox and tuberculosis) is over exaggerated? They came up with the list based on surverys of peoples weight and height and came up with a BMI number for each individual. I think this tool is useless in determining how healthy a person is. I believe there is more to a person's weight than the number on the scale. Last, I think that health problems are caused by not eating a healthy diet and not getting enough exercise versus it being weight.
