the first place, but in any case, I noticed that if I press down on my belly button, it causes this strange sensation inside and I just randomly wondered what is there.

I am constantly getting spontaneous nosebleeds during the night. Usually once per night, between the times of 1 AM to 4 AM, while I'm asleep.

Needless to say, this wakes me up, and really wrecks my sleeping schedule.

It's almost always just my left nostril that bleeds; rarely do both nostrils bleed.

What possibly could be the problem, and what can I do to cure this very annoying, and embarrassing problem?

eg. Friend's Granny - nitrazepam stopped. Spent 2 years on anti-hypertensive drugs (4 different) feeling dreadful. Now sleeping badly, but scared to visit GP as not willing to take more BP drugs. Just hopes if she has a heart attack or stroke it's a big one!
eg. Tramadol,given for severe headaches following neurosurgery years ago - quantity now reduced. Also refusing anti-hypertensives. Just had mastectomy. Scared of inadequate pain relief.
Neither is suicidal. Both drugs ? addictive, but for someone over 70 & under medical supervision does it matter?
Neighbour just died - massive stroke. Last few years miserable - anti-hypertensives again. Was it worth it?
It's like medicines by rote. don't these people count as individuals?

I had my moustach waxed at a salon and for some reason this guy decided to do my chin and under my lips... needless to say he burned me and the doctor said it was only 1st degree.. he gave me antibiotics though for infection. My question is that it scabbed the next day, then the scab fell off on day 3... it was pinkish and now I have these hard scaly bumps.. what is this?? Do I have to be concened with scarring or a mark. It looks like a raised jagged line about an inch long right at the corner of my mouth till about my chin. I just do now want any marks and I do not understand what these little pimple looking things are!

I had a TSH blood test in OCtober and just now found out the results. My endocrhinologist told me to start takign the sample medicine she sent with me. She gave me this BEFORE she got the results of the TSC, and told me she'd let me know if I should take it. She gave it to me becasue she thought It likely I had hypothyroidism.

Anyway, I've started taking it, but I'm concerned... I found out it is almost the lowest dose this company manufactures.. only 75 mcg (synthroid). I don't have another appointment with her until January.. Shouldn't we try to find out if this dose is high enough??.. I have struggled with my weight for years, and I am hoping that I have found an answer (and some help with weight control)..

Should I reccomend a re-test in a few weeks to see how it's affecting my thyroid levels?? Because.. maybe this dose wont be high enough.. I really wouldn't want to wait till Feb (my appoitment is Jan 30) to find out that I need a stronger dose!!

I'm writing a term paper for a class on business and organizations and I have to write a point counterpoint paper about drug testing. I have some facts stating why it's helpful as well as some saying it invades peoples privacy in terms of revealing legal medications they take and possibly medical conditions. I was also goign to discuss these drinks and things people use. Do any of these things actually work or are they just scam money makers for the companies who put them out?

Anyone taken it? I am on it now for depression and anxiety - worrying uncontrollably. Anyone have symptoms similar? Did lexapro help with this problem? How long did it take? What is your life like now?

P.S. I just wanted an idea of people's personal experiences with the medicine.. (don't need to address the questions but I would like some input if anyone has any)

I have a bad back, i am doing everything that i can to lose weight but it's not happening, i am following canada's food guide for eating, i work out 5 days a week and my back pain is increasing. I met this young couple on the streets, in Fl, while traveling. Neither one seemed able to survive homless. I asked them the situation and both of them tired of people trying to run their lives. The catch is this. They don't belong homeless, and why refuse help when it's around the corner? I know having your life planned out for you isn't the best, but, WHY BE HOMELESS INSTEAD?

Okay i've just started taking valtrex everyday along with my birth control pills. I am about 3 days late for my period and am thinking i might be pregnant, we use condoms and i take the pill daily, could i still be pregnant or is it just stress? I know they say some meds can counter act the birth control pills and make them not affective. In June i didn't have a period either and the doc said it was most likely stress. So could Valtrex counter act the birth control or does it not affect it?
