Lice are small bugs that live in the hair of animals (including humans). They are generally contracted by being in close contact with others who have lice...sharing brushes, pillows, etc.

They live on the blood of the animal they're living on. It's usually not enough to make you sick, but they spread quickly to others, and nobody wants a parasite. Mostly, they're pests, as opposed to anything that will cause serious harm.

There are over-the-counter shampoos that can help get rid of them. These usually come with a fine comb that helps you to get rid of the lice that aren't killed by the shampoo. I also recommend that you get the anti-lice spray that will let you clean the pillows, mattresses, stuffed animals, etc.

Its a body parasite, that lives in a person's hair, they lay eggs and reproduce. It will spread from person to person. It is highly contagious, I am not sure where they come from, outside somewhere, I can assume. They feed off your scalp drinking blood, so you can get bites, and it itches. Having lice does not mean someone is dirty anyone can get it, if you have dyed your hair, recently your less likely to get them.

A parasitic infection generally affecting the scalp.
Avoid common combs, and take treatment both of you simultaneously from a dermatologist.
