the first place, but in any case, I noticed that if I press down on my belly button, it causes this strange sensation inside and I just randomly wondered what is there.

nothing but intestines. but where your belly button is, is where you were attached to your mommy when you were a fetus, so there is just...a whole lot of nothing, but i love playing with my belly button :D

your descending Aorta is behind the belly button, the major blood vessel that supplies blood to the lower half of your body, the vagal nerve is also there, but you'd really have to push hard to affect that. The belly button itself is nothing more than a scar left by the umbilical cord that was cut when you were born.

A layer of fat, a layer of muscle, and then your abdominal cavity containing your bowels and other assorted organs. Belly buttons are only used when you're in utero, after you're born they're strictly for decoration.
