I pretty much know what is healthy and was is not. I always have a problem with bread because there is so much to choose from. My kids like the honey wheat but I don't know if that is healthy. Thanks for your answers!

read the label for content, if there is high fructose corn syrup in it, don't buy it.

The first ingredient should be Whole wheat if it is a wheat based bread.

High Fructose Corn syrup is bad.

The higher the fiber and protien and the lower the sugar the better.

You can find a good honey wheat made with whole wheat and real honey instead of corn syrup I'm not sure what brands are available where you are. Read the labels.

Good question; My favorite bread is HealthNut Bread. It has twelve whole grains and a few sliver of almonds baked right in. As for your children liking honey wheat, I don't believe it is a problem, provided that it is not enriched wheat flour; it should be whole wheat flour. The label should say.
