I had my moustach waxed at a salon and for some reason this guy decided to do my chin and under my lips... needless to say he burned me and the doctor said it was only 1st degree.. he gave me antibiotics though for infection. My question is that it scabbed the next day, then the scab fell off on day 3... it was pinkish and now I have these hard scaly bumps.. what is this?? Do I have to be concened with scarring or a mark. It looks like a raised jagged line about an inch long right at the corner of my mouth till about my chin. I just do now want any marks and I do not understand what these little pimple looking things are!

My dad burn his face and I know what you are talking about. Put some NATURAL ALOE (Freshly cut) on the wound I believe 3 times a day and in a couple of weeks you'll be back to normal.

The little bumps are probably just the way the skin has tried to heal itself--if they are like mini blisters, I would think they would go away with time. I agree with the answer about using aloe vera. It can work wonders on burns. Some people I know have used it and had their burn almost heal completely in a day.

Good luck.
