On and off for the past week and a half, I have been having muscle spasms right below my right eye. It twitches for a few minutes, and then nothing will happen for a couple of hours before it starts up again. Nothing has really changed in my diet and exercise routine, but I have been busier than usual lately. Are stress and lack of sleep likely to result in this type of thing?

I see alot of you are on at the moment. You are asking questions and answering questions. So I thought I would ask now to get more responces.

I appear to be allergic to Sodium Fluoride, my reactions were tipped for Stannous Fluoride ( some things were weaker, others were much stronger).

Do you know substitutes? Have you ever had any Patients like this? Are there any toothpaste you know about that have had positive results you or a coleage have seen?

Toothpaste has always burned worse then Listerine to me. I found out that wasn't normal a year or two ago. Finally had a Dentist that when I brought it up said it was an Allergy (all the things I described). He said they have started teahcing people have Allergies to things in toothpaste in school now but only covered flavoring for him.

I switched to a Fluoride Free toothpaste and didn't have side effects. But my jaw had been out of alignment for a couple years and with stress on top of that I have been grinding.

i get a headach on the left side of my head ( it's so painful sometimes) when i try to think of words to say during speaking and discussing , for this reason i get nervous when i participate in a discussion. is there something wrong with my brain? i didnt have this couple years ago.

i dont wanna go to doc cos i am afraid that i might diagnose with a serious illness that needs procedure.

I'm on Tri-Sprintec. And I'm only on the end of week two and I had light spotting yesterday and its heavier today like I'm starting PMS. I missed yesterday so I took yesterday's and today's pill today. I try to take them at the same time everyday but it rarely/never happens. I have been on birth control for over 2 years and this is the 1st time something like this has happened. I would have called and asked my doctor, but they have the grand pleasure of cancelling life on the weekends.

If you're just going to leave some wise crack answer, please don't waste your time.

I have a 16 month old daughter who I took to the ER a couple of nights ago and discovered she has ear infections in both her ears. They gave her a prescription of amoxicilian, which she had an allergic reaction to. I want to take her back to the doctor and see if there is another antibiotic we can try, but my husband is very much against it. He wants to not treat the ear infections and just let them go away by themselves. He says that antibiotics are what causes staph infections and she doesn't need them. My brothers are both partially deaf in one of their ears because of severe ear infections when they were younger, so I am very skeptical and worried. So my question really is, will ear infections just go away on their own, or does she need to be treated!?

I have been dating this girl for alomst 7 months now, and we have been very careful about when we have sex. We are crazy in bed and have had sex a lot, but recently it wasnt enough for us, and we have been tempting ourselves, until it finally happened last night when she pushed me in. It was so amazing, but we are both really scared now, its been about 9 hours now since. We had sex with a condom prior to this happenening, and I did ejaculate. It was the second time I didnt use it about 10 minutes after the first time. I made sure not to ejaculate the second time in fear, but I have heard of pre-*** that can do things. But would there even be any pre-*** since I had already ejaculated? What should I do?!!! She is 18 and I am 16, soon to be 17, should she go get the Morning After Pill? and if so where? Or should we wait, her period starts soon, well hopefully, please advice, as much as possible. Thank you so much.

My son will grab himself and say his penis is stinging. Upon examination, the head of his penis will turn blue and kind of shake. When the stinging stops, the color returns to normal. When he was 3 this happened alot, and he would tell me "a bug is biting my peepee" - for lack of ability to describe it otherwise. The doctor examined him and said it was nothing, he must be constipated. What could this be? Could he have blood flow restricted or some kind of blockage?

I've had it for months, it doesn't get any worse or better. It's about an inch beneath my eye. I've tried scrubbing it, popping it, poking it with a needle, there's no puss inside, it's just a bubble of skin. How can I get rid of it? do i have IBS? i have not changed much in my diet, but....
i have these symptoms:

intestinal bloating
lower stomach/intestinal areas/gut bulging and protruding (only recently)
gas all the time
difficulty passing motion even though stool is soft
intestinal fullness
feel the need to pass motion all the time
feeling as if have not had a complete evacuation after passing motion
stool alternates from hard to soft
discomfort relieved after passing motion/gas
stomach discomfort (sometimes)
little nausea or loss of appetite
occasional upper backache (??)
little/no stomach pain
(currently having my period)


p.s. i have ALWAYS had large meals and prozac medication
