A few months ago, I sat next to an old bloke in the cafe of a supermarket. He told me that he was 93. He actually looked 63!

His daughter came along (she was 60) and confirmed his age as 93. He told me that he had been a greengrocer and thet everytime he walked past the grapes he would pick a few and eat them. He also always ate the speckled bananas that he couldn't sell.

He was as fit as I am (I'm 59) and he swore that eating that fruit all the time was the reason that he was still alive and in such fantastic condition.

Needless to say, my consumption of grapes and bananas has increased dramatically!
