I see alot of you are on at the moment. You are asking questions and answering questions. So I thought I would ask now to get more responces.

I appear to be allergic to Sodium Fluoride, my reactions were tipped for Stannous Fluoride ( some things were weaker, others were much stronger).

Do you know substitutes? Have you ever had any Patients like this? Are there any toothpaste you know about that have had positive results you or a coleage have seen?

Toothpaste has always burned worse then Listerine to me. I found out that wasn't normal a year or two ago. Finally had a Dentist that when I brought it up said it was an Allergy (all the things I described). He said they have started teahcing people have Allergies to things in toothpaste in school now but only covered flavoring for him.

I switched to a Fluoride Free toothpaste and didn't have side effects. But my jaw had been out of alignment for a couple years and with stress on top of that I have been grinding.

My current Dentists didn't do squat about my grinding. Read my other Questions for details,.. the one said she was going to do fillings in 3 teeth,.. some how they did 6 teeth and want me to come back for more work and won't even tell me what.

They said I have cavities from Grinding but no Decay. But they hollowed out the teeth much too low, leaveing walls.

I can ask the next Dentist I see,.. but my mom won't scedual me an appointment until about a month from now. Not the date fo the appointment but that is when she is going to call >.<

I have two teeth attached by the filling as well as alot of other problems due to these fillings.

Tap Water makes me ill. I found a bottled water that doesn't make me sick and have been drinking it, trying to take it with me when I go out. It is flavored but I think 2g sugar per 8 ounces or 16 ounces. Sodas start at around 34 g. The acidy ones make me sick so I have never been a drinker of them ( though I may have some coke once every other year). I have had 4-24 ounces of Mountain Dew approximately 10 times this year ( which this is the tenth month of the year). I have to drink it if I am haveing an Asthma attack while out in public ( Caffine helps). I have probably had sprite a couple times each month (when I didn't have my water with me). I have had a few bottles of Simply Lemonade this year, but I do not think I got to drink very much ( my mom's boyfriend likes to let you have one glass of your drink and then have all the rest of yours while demanding you buy more of what he isn't even touching for him).

BTW, I don't think Medicaid covers those Appliances because my mom was haveing a grinding problems and a Dentist told her to get a Nightguard at the store. However, I was not told to. Should I do that? (I will probably have trouble getting my mom to since she will not get me things when I need them).

To have hollowed out teeth with walls remaining, plus grinding, suggests to me that you are having a lot of acidic drinks e.g. soft drinks, juices, or even cordials. Coke has a pH of about 2.3 - nasty.
The acidic components eat away at the tips of your teeth, especially the molars, and it causes you to grind to keep all the tips level.
If this is your diet, then you should ditch the acid drinks and take up plain tap water.
