My (right) wrist has been hurting for a few weeks. Today it really hurts but yesterday it wasn't so bad. It hurts more when I bend it back rather then bending it foward and seems to be more painful on the same side as my pinky finger. It's also hard for me to grip and lift heavy things. Any ideas on what could be wrong? Do you think it's worth getting check out?

Sometimes when I wake up I feel a weird pain in the middle of my spine for a few seconds and then my whole body will jerk.

Another time I woke up and it felt like was falling and hit against the bed. It actually knocked the wind out of me for a while.

Does anyone know if they are related?

What causes this to happen?

I am more interested to know if there are any particular symptoms. I know a certain cajun spice (something red) makes my throat swell and burn, cinnnamon and red pepper makes me sneeze like crazy, and I just ate some nuts and my vision went off (I felt cross eyed). The nuts say they have paprika on them. Any ideas?

I stepped on a rusty nail 2 days ago and I am going to the doctor today to get it cleaned and a tetanus shot. But now my toes are swollen and purple, and I can't move them. I'm sure it is just trauma, but I'm not a sucker for pain and this REALLY hurts! Does anyone know if they will give me crutches when I go to the doctor, I can hardly walk.

Just had my second baby (hurray). After my first child I added a lot of weight and never really lost all of it, but now I am determined to lose it.

I am very afraid of falling into the same bad eating practices.

am 12 almost 13 in 6 months i have been going thought puberty and had boobs and pubic hairs ever since i was 10 for the past week my boobs have been itchy and when hurt and i have never had my period before and am not pregnat so i need help like a little while ago i had a volley ball game but i couldn't play cause i had the worst cramps that i have ever had and i have alot of discharge it's brown and that gooey one too and am spotting too sometimes when am at school i go to use the ball room and i see tiny spots of blood and i carry pantyliner too any my mom had her period when she was 14 but i kinda want to have my period ealier i need help i have this obession with having ,my period i really want to have it am sometimes i just start crying for no reason i need help to stop obessing for a little bit i did once but then it come back but please tell me if am close to me period if i am i will be so happy and how can i tell if am about to start cause i have all the signs and symptoms

Whenever I exercise, running or hard walking, my achilles tendon flares up and becomes very sore. It will stay that way for weeks. I makes exercising very difficult. I need to be able to continue exercising without having to worry about this tendenitis.
Any suggestions would be helpful.

sorry if I misspelled but how do I convince her to see one? She's 79 and depressed and lost her husband last week so she's still grieving. She had breast cancer which was found early and hadn't had it again since (that was 6 years ago) and last year, she broke her hip but recovered and don't have problems walking. She thinks she got nothing to look forward to and nothing will get better and she thinks she's bad off and worst than most people which is not true. She won't see someone about it and I want her to. Even if she doesn't think it'll help, how would she know if she doesn't try? She might not care about herself or life but I and my family do.

I know this question has been asked a lot but I needed to put in my specific details. My boyfriend and I accidentally had unprotected sex (the condom broke) this Monday 7/15 and twelve hours later I took the morning-after pill. I just got off of the DEPO (birth control) shot about 2-3 weeks ago and thats about when I got my period.
Before we had unprotected sex I though I was going to start my period that day (I had the cramps and light dark blood when I wiped) but after I took the pill there was no blood at all for two days. Now I have cramps like I'm on my period but I only have very light bleeding and the blood is very bright. Could I be pregnant? or do you think its the pill or stress? Please help!

Im thinking about getting lumineers to fix up my teeth. Im kindve nervous though b/c im not sure if this is a better move as opposed to braces. I know that this step is permanent, and costly. I've had eating disorders as long as I can remember (I'm 26 now) about 6 months ago my Dr. said that I had obessive compulsive disorder and put me on Celexa for that and my bulimia. I use to be obessed about my weight. Now I feel much better.. I don't obsess anymore.. but I've gained 25lbs I'm 5'3'' and weigh 170! But I can't stop eating.. and I have no desire to work out. I use to be a work out fiend.. what do I do? My Dr. says I'm ok. and try to work out more.. But I can't get motivated. My joints are starting to hurt from all the weight. Any help would be wonderful!!!
