By far, most of my friends and significant others have been emotionally distant people. They say they care, but they don't really do much to show it, such as visit me. Also, I'm a very physical person and I love to give hugs or a encouraging pat on the shoulder. Sometimes I sit on people's laps (only if they're friends). Usually, my pals just look at me like I am strange and tolerate my touchiness. They don't really try to touch back or anything like that, not as much as I'd like. There's nothing else specific that I can lay a finger on, but I just don't sense a lot of warmth from them. I understand some people are naturally like this, but why are 90% of my friends this way? Why do I attract people like this if I'm affectionate, a trait they don't seem to appreciate? Now, I'm starting to withdraw from people, but I don't want to be an icebox, too. Sometimes I think the world is mostly made up of cold people. What can I do to draw a warmer group of people?

I was in intensive care for 5 days with severe resporitory failure.Ihave been very up and down since.I am well now but go ing through a depression thats been on and of for 6 months it getting worse with the flashbacks and worry of it happening again even though i am well now.Is there anybody out there who has been through the same or got any advice i would love to here from you

I take the depo shot every three months, I have noticed the past four months nothing I try works when I want to loose weight, I have dieted...... really well and still am. exercised 2 times a day and yet nothing has helped. has anyone gone through this before?

My daughter is 13 years old and has been suffering really bad toothache for the past 3 weeks. Anyway, to cut a loooooooong story short, the dentist said that she has her wisdom tooth coming through on the one side and right next to it is a rotten tooth which is going to cost us about 150 euros to fill. Shouldn't we rather just have the rotten removed and allow the wisdom tooth to take it's place?

I just got a root canal done (as in I just walked in the door coming back from my appointment 5 minutes ago), and I was wondering how long it takes for the novacaine to wear off and how long it takes to have the perm. filling put in place?

Oh, I had five shots of novacaine if that factors into the time period at all.

im 23 my mother is in very critical condition with maybe 8 LIFE THREATNING conditions she is on a breathing tube and was sedated i BELIEVE in the power of the LORD and i want to ask that ANYONE WHO READS THIS MESSAGE pray for janice yarussi PLEASE!!

she is in florida is a catholic and she needs to become stable enough to have surgery to remove a massive tumor. she needs to be able to breathe on her own (her lungs to heal and stop filling with fluid) her blood pressure to stay at a safe level (it was 40/20 at one point) her white blood cell count to come down to normal and tostay at a healthy temp. (it was 105 degrees at one point) PLEASE HELP US AND THANK YOU DEARLY GOD BLESS YOU ALL

It's horrible, from the second I open my eyes till about three hours it wears off. I chew gum and it helps sometimes. Is there something, anything at all that can help?

dentist broke off a file from his drill in my tooth (they told me it happens all the time). They gave me my $ back (told me they'd send the impression out for a crown or whatever) sent me to an endo (i paid) and told me to come back in 3 weeks to get the cap put on. They gave me a really low price on the cap like i only owed $400 more. The endo couldn't get the file out but finished the root canal. The dentist or endo wouldn't tell me what could happen in result of this. When the dentist never called me to tell me the cap had came in I called. The receptionist looked up my file and told me they didn't have a cap because I had never been there to get a root canal. So I said let me talk to someone else because I was. Everyone kept telling me I wasn't there. Finally someone admitted I was but told me that they never sent the mold off and didn't have it anymore. Anyways don't you think it's weird that they pretty much trashed my file, does that mean i should sue them, can I.

Long story short:

I have a cousin who does not currently admit to being mentally unstable, but has a long history of psychological issues. I have always tried to be there for her, because she doesn’t have anyone. However, over and over again I get burned.

Last year, I married a wonderful, charming man. At the time, my cousin would send me e-mails asking “how long will it be until the divorce” and saying “I know you think I’m going to steal your man away.” This was absurd, so I ignored it and we lost contact.

I am now pregnant and my cousin and I recently resumed correspondence. Everything was okay until yesterday when she sent me a crazy e-mail saying I am “very competitive” with her. She also wrote that “I feel like if I look at your husband, you are thinking I am attracted to him and are afraid that he and I will eventually end up together.” I don't know where this is coming from. My husband doesn't know her.

Should I be scared?

do you think it is okay for elementry school children or high school kids to be forced to have the HPV vacine..like they do for HepA&B? I was made to get both in grade 8 and i was made to keep vacinations update or get suspended until they were. (ontario, Canada) is there a difference between the two being madatory? the HPV vacine is $500 (canadian) for the three shots...the goverment is going to paid for it.

I want to go back on a previous program I was on from Medical Weight Loss, I know the diet, but when I was in their program they had me drink a high protein shake 3 times a day in addition to my diet. It worked like a charm...so my question is what brands of high protein shakes are out there that do not cost $30 and up per container that are just as good as the ones they were giving me ? I do not have access to the program where I am living, so Im doing it by recall.

my boyfriend was given meth on the weekend thinking it was cocaine. his behavior had been strange... he had a panic attack today.(2 days later) He's never done anything like this before.we realise the not only the legal stupidity of drugs as well as the moral and health issues too. could it have been a panic attack from the guilt of having been soo stupid?

I stopped taking depo in september I was due in November 06, but stopped taking it! I was in ER about two weeks later. In July 07, I was in ER again, but I wasnt bleeding, I didnt know what was wrong with me, with breast tenderness, and painful cramps I was on morphine but it didnt really help! they let me out and my period started about a week later. Since then it has come EVERY TWO WEEKS, painful, I turn pale, get migranes, sometimes nausious. I get paranoid and take home pregnancy tests results are always negative. my breast are painfully tender, sometimes I am so weak it hurts to walk, I havent had a period since I was in my teens so I dont know what a normal period feels like anymore, but i remember being sent home sick when i was about 12-13 for back pain, cramps, and headaches... is this just normal for me or will it regulate itself? seeing doctors has only led me to fending for myself and up to my neck in debt W/ hospital bills! WHATS WRONG WITH ME???
