I found out about a week ago, and I've been kind of numb to the news.. should i be extremely worried, or is this this kind of thing you just have to accept and move on with....

there have been more than three occassions where I have awoken in the middle of the night claiming that I have seen a spider either on my wall or in my bed... There was one time when there was an actual spider, but that was the only time it was real. I've been having these "illusions" or whatever you want to call them more so lately now, than ever. Can anyone tell me what this might mean??!

I am anemic..my count was 5 and is now upto 20 but should be 30. I have also found out that I have 2 Fibroids but not sure of size til Tues.Do they shrink on their own before menopause? I am 39 yrs old and my periods are very heavy (tampon plus 2 pads) that I do not want to leave the house for 3 days. From reading I have found out that Fibroids are most likely the cause of being anemic & heavy flow. I am trying to weigh my options before I go see the doctor on Tuesday. I had my tubes tied about 8 yrs ago so children are not part of the equation.

Last week I went to see my doctor cause I was having painful bowel movements and there was blood on the surface of the stools and on the toilet paper and he told me that I had an anal fissure and he gave me a prescription for a laxative and told me to take colace and told me to come back in a couple of weeks. I have an appointment to see my doctor on Tuesday. I've had anal fissures in the past and I'm still experiencing painful bowel movements. I did some research online and came across some information about Irritable Bowel Syndrome so I'm wandering if I have IBS cause I do have some of the symptoms. My question is should I talk to my doctor about this or should I just go see a gastroentrologist or both? Also what kinds of tests would they be running on me to determine if I have IBS?

okay, so i was hungry and the microwave in my dorm room is old. i cook something for three minutes, go outside for a second, come back in and the kitchen is filled with smoke and the microwave melted the bowl and burned the food.

now I'm not hungry. of course i was rushing trying to clean up everything....so my adrenaline was pumping.

I thought that Post Tramatic Stress Syndrome was over rated, imaginary or just an excuse after a finite period of time...

Until I was in an auto accident March 1986. To this day, I over react to vehicles coming toward me from the right (I give a little nervous jolt / jump).

What has happened to you or someone you knew that could be related to this or similar disorder? Was any therapy applied? Still experiencing some reactions?

I posted 2 other questions bout this. Sorry if you guys are getting annoyed, I am just aggravated!

Had unprotected sex 4 times on the 10th of this month, got my expected period the very next day ( i knew it was coming, thats why it was unprotected sex) for 2 days now I feel so fluish and off.. my breasts hurt BAD all day, I have low stomach cramps,lower back ache, Increase in vaginal discharge (its like milky white substance), and I feel so hot! what the heck is going on?? Oh, my period was gone 2 days after I got it. I broke down and bought a pregnancy test because it is the ONLY think I can think of.. Of course it was neg.. even IF I am pregnant, Its way too soon to tell from just having sex 8 days ago. If its pregnancy, would I be feeling it so soon??

Do I still need to worry bout missing my period next month?
I honestly had no idea one could become pregnant from having sex when they are expecting their period.

I would go to the Dr, but this is not an emergency.

A couple of days ago I got out of bed and felt really light headed and dizzy.I fainted in my office and I went home. My temperature is 107 and I feel really really ill. I have severe stomach pains on my right side and I keep throwing up. I feel really dizzy and faint about 70% of the time and my pulse is really fast. The pains in my stomach are getting worse, to the point of unbearable sharp cutting pains. Please help me.

I have been diagnosed about 7mos ago with Degenerative Arthritis in my Lower Lumbar (L4). I can not take my med's when working, makes me very tired (Vicodin). I have a sit down job (Desktop Publishing) and after a few hours, my back is killing me. I have the chair supports for my back and get up every 30min or so to stretch. What kind of exercises could I do that help to strengthen my back muscles that won't be too over-exerting? And would Advil or Bayer be better for the inflamation?

I was on prednisone about a year ago for a few weeks and it really helped a lot, but it was very harsh on my body / mood. i have recently been experiencing a relapse, and would like to try over the counter products and some natural herbs that would be able to help me. I normally wear contact lenses all of the time and have done so for several years. However, I keep a pair of glasses in case of emergencies because I hate them. Yesterday, my left eye became irritated and I was forced to remove my contact lenses. Today I had to wear my pair of glasses to work and have noticed that they make my forehead hurt terribly! Also, the back of my head hurts especially when I look down. Why? Is there anything I can do to make the pain go away? Like I said, I hate glasses and I can't wait for my eye irritaiton to go away so I can wear my contact lenses.

I need some help, please! I am in a new relationship for about 2 years now and my boyfriend is the one with diabetes. It's so hard for me and I dont know what else to do. I have a hard time understanding this illness and I tend to get overly frustrated with him. I need to know if there is anything I can do to help us.
