i have this problem where i am just walking and my leg gets numb and it just falls asleep. then i feel this weird tingly thing in my leg. what is this? i went to the doctor, but they dont tell me anything!

Has anyone one else made this decision. I fear that even if I do not do this all at once, I will always be in fear that it's just a matter of time before I lose the other one. I know Nancy Reagan had both removed and seems to be doing fine. This is a very pain decision and would like your opinion

Sometimes I feel a pain that cuts through me like an arrow and then just goes away. it's not in any particilar body part, it can occur anywhere (ex: my back, my heart, my arm or even leg) What does it mean? And why does it occur?

Has anyone had a scratched or torn cornea that was accompanied by blurred vision (more like you're looking through a cloudy film)?

I do have an eye doctor appointment tomorrow, but thought I'd ask around here.

I wear contact lenses and I have had problems with dry eye in the past. My former doctor (I moved out of state) prescribed Proclear lenses because they are supposed to be the best with letting air into the eye.

Anyway, about three weeks ago I was having a problem with my left eye and couldn't wear my contacts. Eye was a little pink, hurt and sensitive to light. It did get better. But, earlier this week, it started again, though less intense. My eye isn't pink, but super sensitive to light and my vision is blurrier than usual :), like what I described above.

Has anyone had this or know if this is a corneal abrasion?

I'm 15 and I might need to be put on birth control to regulate my period because lately it's been irregular and I was in sooo much pain today that I had to go to the nurse's office and leave home early. But idk if I should see a man or woman doctor? I heard men doctors can be more careful and gentle than women doctors, but I just don't know.... What do you think?

Specifically, I just read the book "a Child called IT" and I was sickened, then I thought, "I should write a book". I even started composing it right away. Then I felt all sick inside and thought that I would be dredging everything up for no good reason and no one would publish it, plus I couldn't bear to publish it while my Mom was still alive. (My Dad has passed and my Mom is not doing well). Mom would call me a liar, she doesn't remember or denies almost all of it. They were of the generation that thought parents can do anything to their kids except break bones or put them in the hospital. Especially if the kids 'deserved it' by telling a lie or something.
I don't know if writing about it and my feelings would make it better or worse. What do you think? Thanks for your time.

i have the beginnings of the flu. blocked nose, sneezes, bit of a cough, and just generally groggy and bunged up. the problem i have (apart from the flu) is that my sister is having a combined party on saturday for her 30th birthday and her and her husbands 10th wedding anniversary. i have not been out for ages (i have 3 kids aged 2,3+9) and have been really looking forward to it. does anyone have any tips or quick cures for flu please??? thanx

i am recently undergoing alot stress. my job sucks, i miscarried twice in three years, i found i have hpv and premature cancer, and this just in, i might have gotten raped as a child. i've been having aweful dreams, my body aches, i'm constantly having to go to my doctor because of something- an infection or blacking out and i have been getting flashbacks of being molested by family friends. i've let myself go, i've balloned up to 268 pounds, i'm down to 249 which took much effort. i'm happily married and yet feel i'm holding my husband down. and recently i've been crying ALOT! i have been crying for 4 days now and can't get these terrible thoughts out of my head. and it's so hard because i try to follow what everyone tells me about forget about the past but it's not that easy. i feel i may be depressed, are these signs. oh and i'm usually a good eater but today all i've had is a protien bar and cup of coffee. i left work early because i was getting to emotional.

I just got out of a physically abusive relationship about 2 months ago. I guess I was looking for a rebound relationship just to try and get over my ex. But my problem is, is that I don't want to be touched by anyone. I don't like people hugging me or touching me, I feel very uncomfortable. I used to not be like this, I was a very effectionate person. I can't even kiss someone. Someone help because I've been like this for 2 months, and I don't want it to last... :(

I get low grades in school and one time I cheated because I wanted to get good marks, got caught and got called out of everyone so know I am an anti-social btch/ cheating liar in my school. And my friends doesnt even like me because Im too shy and I dont feel like opening up because I feel that I will get judged and I dont have anything to say and they think Im being stuck up and mean so they ignore me now and I have no friends.. My parents physically & emotionally abuse me when I do something wrong, because I am SO stupid and I hate myself for making mistakes, so I deserve to get beat up.. I think about being suicidal everyday and I feel so alone, so should I kill myself?

i had my tonsils removed and i slept all day yesterday and when i wasn’t sleeping i was eating ice cream and peanut butter. Today i have been very dizzy all day and unable to stand (my Mom has been having to wait after me all day). is this bc of some kind of lack of vitamin? i have only been able to eat soft food like the following...
-Chicken noodle soup --with out the chicken =(-Peanut butter-Ice cream-Apple sauce-And Vanilla pudding
is there any thing else i could be eating?
i have been getting the hiccups a lot and bc my throat is so sore none of the old tricks work to get rid of them and it hurts me so bad when i get them. what can i do to keep them from coming? Any other tricks besides holding your breath and sipping water?
Oh BTW I have been taking lortab for pain (it is so nasty!) and an antibiotic to keep from getting any kind of infection. And have also been drinking as much water as i possibly can. What else can i do? I am 16 incase this has something to do with it thanx
