Too large depends on your partner. You're very well endowed at 9 inches, but you may find that some women can't take all of it, or worse, it simply might not fit at all if it's very wide. There's something to be said for the feeling of being inside her 'to the hilt' (all the way in), but you may have a hard time finding someone who has that much room inside.
Take a look at your average porn movie. Those men are usually well endowed, some even more than you, but they rarely put it all the way in.

My hubby is what I consider X-large 11-12 inches when he's really excited, but you are large enough.
